The location is beautiful, all the facilities are great and we definitely would stay here again!

The guesthouse is on a sheep farm in a rural area about halfway between Jokulsarlon and Hofn. It was a perfect location for the ice cave/glacier tour and beautiful for viewing norther lights at night! The breakfast is very filling with fresh breads, meat, cheese, fruit and yogurt. Our room with private bathroom was located in a row of small cottages outside the main guesthouse. It was very comfortable, quiet and spacious.

The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. Very spacious and cosy. Super location and host was very kind.

Gorgeous cabin in the mountains, hit tub was perfect for stargazing while staying warm. So peaceful and the bed was comfy - best sleep we had on this trip! Would definitely come back!

What made it perfect: - Impeccably clean: The space was spotless, with fresh linens and fluffy towels that made it feel like a luxury retreat. - Tranquil & peaceful: The quiet surroundings ensured a restful sleep, far from the hustle of city life. - Thoughtful touches: Clear instructions were placed in visible spots, making everything from check-in to using amenities effortless. - Shared facilities: The kitchen and bathroom were kept pristine, and the communal vibe added a cozy, hostel-like charm. - Convenient parking: No stress about finding a spot—ample parking right outside. - Blazing-fast WiFi: Perfect for remote work and streaming after a day of adventures. - Mirror suggestion: A full-length mirror in the room would be the cherry on top for practicality. But the real highlight? Our unexpected companions: a mama goat and her two adorable kids! They stayed by our glass door all evening and even lingered into the daytime, adding a whimsical, very Icelandic touch to our stay. Whether you’re chasing the Northern Lights or exploring South Iceland’s wonders, this accommodation is a must-book. It’s rare to find a place that balances comfort, cleanliness, and raw natural beauty so seamlessly. Highly recommended!

It lives up to its description. The house and garden are lovely.

The location is perfectly remote with easy proximity to hiking trails and interesting sites. The home is spacious and in good condition. The property is very easy to find and access was as easy as possible.

The room was cosy and super clean. The living room and kitchen area is well equipped. All amenities are available. The view from the window was amazing. The location is good for aurora watching at night too.
