It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.

This location is a beautiful drive and for our stay it was a beautiful drive to get there in the snow! We had a warm and friendly greeting from Abba, the host. She made us hot tea while we got settled in. We had a very large and comfortable room upstairs with a view of the farm from the side. The lodging has been well taken care of and was immaculate. Our bathroom had a very nice shower with plenty of hot water. We had a nice lounger to relax on after we had dinner in town. Abba prepared and served a delicious Iceland buffet in their lovely dining room. I loved seeing their sheet and goats. It's a great location to view the northern lights. We would definitely stay there again.

These modern-built cottages are located in Reykjadalur 37 mi from Akureyri and 6.2 mi from the famous Godafoss waterfalls.

The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.
