Mingtang is one of the best places we stayed in Nepal during our trip. The owner and staff members make you feel super welcome and like home. They also helped us to book all the taxis to go explore around the area and have many useful recommendations about restaurants and cafes nearby. The hotel is well located and the territory is clean and quite. You don’t hear any noise and there are lots of trees and flowers to enjoy. Also there is a friendly dog called Yahu. The breakfasts were different every day, and super delicious. We loved the place and if we ever come back, we will stay here again.

What an amazing stay! Two brothers run this hotel and just WOW! I stayed here 3 different times (about 15 days total) and it was exceptional. Each time I felt super safe and was very quiet (i know they kicked out a few guests who were were loud, drunk and obnoxious over mystay) , room was very clean and spacious ( i had the garden view), hot water galore (i love me longgg hot showers), great location (a block away from the city center, so many restaurants and cafes nearby) and best of all the value ( Save $$!). The brothers really treat you well, kept my stuff when I came back for a last second trek and the juice shop up front is very good ( great wifi in the juice shop and in the room) and a great place to chill on your downtime instead of your room. A++ please stay here and support small locals.

Family members running the place are wonderful people! Super kind, nice, and helpful.. The location is great, it's a short hike up the hill and it's accessible by bike, though you can see the whole lake and see the jungle nearby and the fields. The rooms are clean and the meditation room is open for guests, it was so relaxing and nice being there

Garden was amazing , they don't have room numbers they just have room names called Jasmine , Lemon , Papaya ,,, that was so interesting. Laxman helped us for cooking our style food , he is such a helpful staff . We stayed there 3 nights. We all feel happy there , thank you all see you next time.
