This place is magical; its views, its facilities, and the experience itself allow you to enjoy nature with all the comforts of the city. Access must be done in a 4x4, which you can arrange to hire in Minca. You can bring everything you need for food and drinks, and that's it. One thing that is essential, considering we're in the jungle, is a good insect repellent and insecticide in case you need it. The bird-watching tour and the excursions to the different waterfalls in the area are a must. I recommend the Hidden Waterfall due to its proximity and solitude.

I was worried at first that this might be the wrong choice, since it’s a bit far from the park entrance and the main hiking trail. But this place turned out to be absolutely magical. I would recommend it to anyone. While sitting outside on the little terrace, I saw so much wildlife right in front of the cabin: two types of monkeys, an agouti, parrots, a sloth, a squirrel, iguanas, tons of birds, and even a snake. The cabin itself is super comfortable. It feels cozy, and the bed is really nice. Also, it’s easy to catch a small shuttle or bus from here to both the main park entrance and the starting point of the hike to Cabo San Juan, which makes it a really convenient base. Truly an unforgettable stay in Tayrona.

This place is so beautiful and quiet! The host Juliette and Massimo (and of course Tinto the dog) were so friendly and helpful and made it an unforgettable stay! The rooms were very spatious for our family of 5, and we really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and living room. Also my ´amigo´ Frankil the mototaxi driver was always available to bring me to the supermarket or other places.
