Our kids loved to be around the animals and we loved to just prepare food in the outdoor kitchen, relax at the terrace etc. If I compare to all the places we have been at in our 3 week trip in Georgia, Genacvale has the best Wi-Fi! It’s also impressive how they have built this houses themselves. The hosts was super friendly and we felt very welcome. There are many beautiful places in the area and you can easily stay more nights if you would like to explore the nature and other villages around!

Our hosts were an adorable family who kindly allowed early check-in and waited for us at the chalet. Check-in was quick and easy. The chalet was very clean, with comfortable beds, a small but nice shower room, and a well-equipped kitchen. It had everything we needed: sofa, chairs, table, television, all in good condition. Outside, we enjoyed a hammock, chairs, flowers, apple and grape trees, and even a fire pit (which we didn’t expect). The family kindly offered to light a fire for us, cut extra wood, and even brought us a carafe of red wine. They let us pick a few apples too. The family was so generous and welcoming that we felt truly at home. It was the best stay of our trip, and we highly recommend this place. We would come back anytime.

We liked everything! Eka and Zaur are very hospitalable owners. They answered all our questions about Mestia and treated us delicious homemade matsoni and milk. The cottage is fully equipped, even with dishwasher which is unusual in Mestia. The home is well thought out, the mattresses are comfortable, although some may find them a little hard. It is There is private parking inside near the cottage. Location is perfect - close to Mestia city center. I definitely recommend this cottage if you want to stay in peaceful charming Svaneti.
