The house and gardens are fantastic. We spent a day in the gardens alone. Catherine the lady who owns the house could not have done any more to assist us. When we return to the area it will be where we stay.

The location was perfect for daily exploration The cottage was roomy and cosy in the cold. The cottage was quiet and it eas just lovely to sit and watch the sheep outside our windows.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Skryne Castle features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. This country house offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The castle was absolutely beautiful – spotless and well-kept. The host was very friendly, quick to respond, and even helped us arrange transportation to and from the castle. It’s definitely a place I would recommend for groups! The cows and horses nearby added to the charming, countryside atmosphere. Everything worked perfectly, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The area was very peaceful and quiet – a wonderful stay overall!

Very comfortable. There’s a beautiful garden area that is enclosed. The host was very accommodating and friendly.
