This is a campsite, so I'm giving my review by comparing it to other similar places. It would be unfair to compare a farm to a hotel. That said, my stay was great! The house was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The toilet is outside the building, but it's private because it belongs to that unit only. The showers are shared, which wasn't a problem at all — the bathroom is spacious and very comfortable. It's excellent for kids — my son was delighted!

A perfect retreat space , we absolutely recommend Butterfly Cottage as a great choice …

The cottage is over 200 years old and is located on a small farm with lots of animals. The hostess was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, interesting and all around awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. I was able to bottle feed a lamb and we collected fresh eggs from the hens for breakfast. We enjoyed the cottage and estate so much, we cancelled some of our plans to chill at the cottage. We hope to return in the future with extended family and rent both cottages.
