Willing to prepare us an early breakfast when we were leaving for safari. Breakfast is also very delicious and fresh made. It is in a nice green part of Nairobi, close to Giraffe center or Karen Blixen Museum. The garden and the whole property is very beautiful and has a relaxing vibe. We even found 2 heating pads in our bed to make it warmer when we arrived.

We also loved that we could walk to Hemingways Eden for a meal or drink. Very close to popular attractions such as giraffe centre, elephant orphanage, and the Karen Blixen museum. Pumbaa is just as beautiful of a property for a fifth of the prices of similar accommodations in the area. It’s a no brainer - if you’re staying in Karen, book Pumbaa!

The cottage is very cosy, clean and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the beautiful garden. The location is very safe, and it was perfect since I attended a conference within a 10 min walking distance. Liz and her family are fantastic hosts; I even got sick during my time there, and Liz helped me a lot by taking me to the hospital and checking on me. They are very kind and make you feel at home.
