We could eat take away food in the living area. The staff were very friendly. As the weather was quite chilly compared to the other area, we got an electric heater. Despite of no breakfast, we got food in a supermarket, so absolutely no problem. Shower was quite warm, too. The price was quite economical. I felt like staying in the UK.

Like you can spend the entire evening roaming around in the backyard where our host has been growing all sorts of fancy stuff ( strawberries, passion fruit, oranges… you name it). To top it all you get to play with Simba(shyest feline you’ll ever meet). I wish we were there for a few more days but definitely recommend it to everyone who is going to Nuwara Eliya

The staff were all so welcoming and the main concierge was super attentive and kind. When we arrived late at night, he was there and quick to get us checked in. On route, the hotel even dropped us a text to check if we required supper and if so they would keep the kitchen open. We had our own supper and the concierge who received us was so hospital and opened up the restaurant for us to dine in. He later turned on the lights and music for the billard room and foosball area too. And since there were 3 of us, when 1 of our travelling companions was using the shower, the concierge graciously offered the 2 of us a free 5min head massage by their in house masseuse (who was really good with the pressure and technique).

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the sheer spaciousness of the apartment and the evident care taken in its maintenance. The living area was thoughtfully furnished, creating a welcoming atmosphere with comfortable sofas, a TV, and convenient WiFi access that made us feel right at home. Each of the three bedrooms was remarkably spacious, providing ample room to relax. The provision of fresh, clean towels, crisp bedsheets, and cozy blankets ensured a restful night's sleep. The bathrooms were equally impressive, being immaculate and very well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of hygiene. For those who prefer to self-cater, the fully equipped kitchen was a fantastic amenity. It included a gas stove, refrigerator, rice cooker, heater jug, and a complete set of necessary utensils, making meal preparation a breeze. However, the true gems of Mount View Bungalow were the balconies attached to every room and the main hall. Stepping onto them revealed truly breathtaking panoramic views of the majestic mountains and lush tea plantations surrounding Hatton. These serene vistas provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of Sri Lanka. Practicality was also well-considered, with ample and secure parking available within the gated premises, offering peace of mind for guests with vehicles. Furthermore, the location is incredibly convenient, with Hatton town just a pleasant 10-minute walk away, providing easy access to shops and local amenities. The hospitality we received from the host was exceptional.

The food was delicious and the chef went out of his way to prepare a beautiful cake for us during our stay! It's perfect for couples wanting an intimate, peaceful escape with personalized attention.
