Such a nice place to get to after a long flight. The guy there was after anything we needed and super kind. The pool and decor is gorgeous. The bedrooms were beyond exceptional, with some of the most comfortable pillows and duvet, shower was incredible, aircon and fan was awesome, and welcoming lassies were delicious. The location is great to get to both Dikwella and hiriketiya beach.

Ruwan Jungle Homestay se nachází v Mirisse (jih) a nabízí kola zdarma, zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu, vybavení pro grilování a výhled do zahrady. Home from home! Ruwan and his family couldn’t have made us feel more welcome to their lovely Homestay. Nothing was too much trouble. The room had a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The shower was powerful and in the heat a welcome relief. Our room was on the small side but this wasn’t a problem as the outside space had a hammock, table and chairs. Breakfast was served daily by Ruwan and his lovely daughter. It was fresh and plentiful and always delivered with a big smile. The air conditioning in the room wasn’t great and took some getting used to. Ruwan did kindly offer to change our room but we declined as we didn’t want to inconvenience him with another room to clean. However it is only fair to share this information. We stayed 4 Nights with Ruwan and his family and everyday he checked on our welfare, if we needed anything or a ride anywhere. He organised a wonderful Whale watching trip for us, one we would recommend, as a must when in this area. Ruwan kindly cooked us a delicious Sri Lanka. Fish supper despite his wife only day’s earlier giving birth to their son. On New Years Day the family invited us for breakfast in their home. The food was plentiful, delicious and a reflection of this family’s kindness and willingness to share their hospitality with us. I urge Anyone in this area to visit Ruwan and his family if wanting an authentic experience. Ruwan, thank you , we will be back. You are in our hearts forever. Xox

Saltasia Boutique Beach Villa poskytuje restauraci, venkovní bazén, zahradu a terasu. Pláž Thalaramba Beach se nachází několik kroků odtud. We loved the property. The main area of Mirissa is about a 15 minute walk away or even quicker in a Tuktuk, a tranquil oasis. It felt like we were guests in a private house.The food was exceptional especially the seafood platter but all of our meals were tasty and beautifully presented. The work of a talented chef. If you’re looking to get away from it all then this is a perfect spot.

Ubuntu by Lantern je hotel situovaný v Mirisse ve správní oblasti Matara, 3,7 km od sídla agentury Whale Watching Mirissa organizující plavby změřené na pozorování velryb. Everything was amazing, from the service, cleanliness, rooms and the proximity of the beach (it’s just in front). We were falling asleep listening to waves

Sira´s Chalets se nachází přímo na pláži a nabízí klimatizované chaty s bezplatným Wi-Fi a terasou, ze které je výhled na moře. Right on the beach. Great location. Breakfast is outside you chalet door.

AHU hiriketiya se nachází v destinaci Hiriketiya a nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu, sdílený lounge a terasu. Fantastic location - surrounded by wildlife and if you have a scooter even better ! Big and spacious - felt like a home from home with lovely balcony. Saw monkeys and a peacock each morning !
