We had the most amazing time at Leel’s Safari cottage! The room was perfect—super clean, beautifully designed, with air conditioning and a hot water. You can really tell how much effort they put into making everything just right. It felt so cozy and welcoming. The garden outside was lovely—well-kept, peaceful, and such a nice place to relax. And the food… wow! The meals cooked by Leel’s mom and his wife were the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Thank you both for making every meal so special! We also did the sunrise safari with Leel, and it was incredible🌅 He’s so professional and knows the park so good. He explained everything so calmly and made sure we didn’t miss anything. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you so much, Leel, for an unforgettable stay. The hotel is very clean and comfortable in lovely surroundings. Close to bus stops, shops and restaurants. The owner of the hotel is a friendly a kind person. He made sure I knew about walking around the lake, he can help with booking the safari tour. He even made sure I got on the correct bus to Ella by walking me to the correct bus stop and waiting with me. He also checked that I arrived safely at my destination. Would highly recommend staying here.

The Cottage is situated in a quite location but is still very close to the center. The shower was beautiful and also the garden area very nice. Food was great and also the host was very friendly and helpful with safari and daytrip bookings.

Would highly recommend!

Excellent place, room was well equipped and the bathroom was huge. The bed was good and comfy. The breakfast spread was decent. Both the staff who welcomed us was friendly, helpful and provided explanations of the do's and dont's. Didn't take a picture of the room but it was big and nice. Definitely recommended.
