The location might be a hit or miss depending on what you are looking for - we came to spend a few days in Tropical Garden Self-Catering after we had already spent a week on Praslin and La Digue in accomodations located near the ocean and beaches, so the fact that Tropical Garden is located at a distance from any nearest beach and up in the mountains was not a drawback for us. Quite on the contrary: we noticed that at a higher altitude (around 330 metres ASL) the air in the morning was a bit more fresh and cool than at the sea level. Tropical Garden Self Catering, true to its name, is located within a beautiful garden from which we were encouraged by our hostess to pick starfruit straight from the tree. It has a breathtaking view of the mountains from its balcony. It is spacious and tastefully furnished, clean and cosy. The hostess Flossy is the heart and soul of this place - she gave us the most heartfelt welcome, taking time to explain which beaches are safe to swim, which trails she recommends for hiking, which buses to take to go to Victoria or to the nearest beach she recommends for swimming and snorkelling (Port Launay). When on one day wi-fi stopped working, she was on the phone with us and quickly resolved the issue. She organised a taxi for us, asking the driver on our behalf to take us to the hypermarket in Victoria and wait for us while we did our grocery shopping before taking us to the accomodation. We did not rent a car on Mahe and still managed to see most of the island travelling by bus - the bus stop is located witihin about 8 minutes walking distance from the accomodation. You just need to devote some time to study the SPTC bus schedule but once you decode it, there is no stopping you from seeing every corner of Mahe!

The place I stayed was perfect - you get a full apartment for yourself with a spacious and comfortable room, nice bed, great bathroom that has a bidet, and a fully equipped kitchen. You also have your own small terrace from which you have a beautiful sunset view of Beau Vallon. The location is also perfect because you're 15 min away from the famous Beau Vallon beach and can easily get there by foot and can also drop by a supermarket or a restaurant nearby. The owner was super nice and helpful, she even drove me to a different location I had to move to on Mahé. I'd definitely come back and I recommend it to anyone

The place is located in the middle of a tropical forest(only 6 minutes far by car from the main island road), but you also have a beautiful ocean view from de pool. Judith and Richard had built this cozy wooden villa in their property, near to their house but surrounded by palms so we were the only guests there. Isn’t that luxury? They are building another one, but far enough to keep privacy, and each one has it own pool and sun bed area that we really enjoyed. Everything is well equipped: kitchen, bathroom, bedroom…but the best is the amazing level of cleanliness: Spotless. Honestly the owners are doing a great job, always caring and helping, so I really wish them just the best.

Krásný čistý, prostorný pokoj s krásnou velkou terasou. Bessi byla velice příjemná, na zprávy reaguje okamžitě. Zajistila nám také pronájem auta. V ubytování k dispozici barel s vodou. Kuchyň plně vybavená, mixér, trouba, mikrovlnná trouba, formičky na led. Nedaleko obchod s potravinami, restaurace, autobusová zastávka.

We chose Mouggae Blues Villas for its cabin vibes and proximity to the beach, but we were welcomed by the nicest hosts we could ever encounter. Our cabin was perfect, extremely clean, all the appliances were available, fully stocked, spacious, comfy, a very quiet and peaceful area and extremely cozy! The views from the terrace are purely breathtaking. From a warm hug to a local fruits delivery or a ride, the hosts were always there when needed. Extra credits to Kanji and Ernesto, for making us feel like part of the family, and sharing with us, what their island has best to offer. Definitely our safe place to always comeback to, when in Mahé 🤍

Maison L'Horizon se nachází v destinaci De Quincey Village a nabízí celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén, bezplatné Wi-Fi a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. Amazing location though a little further out than expected. Little shop a short walk down the hill for the basics. Amazing pool area and huge rooms with all mod cons, WiFi tv and kitchen area. Staff very helpful and great with the children. Taxi from the airport arranged and to the ferry for a great price.

Hillside Retreat se nachází v Baie Lazare Mahé a nabízí ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi, kuchyní, balkonem a posezením. Na místě je soukromé neplacené parkoviště. Great place!! We loved the balcony - it's like sitting in the trees! Along with flying dogs and green geckos. :-) Definitely one of my favourites traveling the Seychelles. + great value for money! Thanks a lot!!

Villa Kordia se nachází v Pointe aux Sel a nabízí ubytování v kreolském stylu v upravené zahradě, pouhých 5 minut jízdy od Anse Royale. Seychelské letiště je vzdálené 8 km. This is an amazing villa in the Seychelles! We were warmly welcomed, even with our early arrival. The house is beautiful, spacious, and cozy. The scent on the second floor — from the wooden dressers — reminded me of my childhood 😍, it truly took me back in time. The villa is very clean. The beach is just a short walk away — we easily walked there with the kids. One of the highlights was the outdoor shower under the tree — such a unique and atmospheric experience. A perfect place for a comfortable family vacation!

Villa Caballero se nachází ve čtvrti Anse Aux Pins Beach v Au Cap, jen 1,6 km od lihovaru Takamaka Bay. Nabízí klimatizaci a bezplatné Wi-Fi. K dispozici je také soukromá terasa. Velký krásný bungalov pro 2 osoby, uprostřed zahrady, která byla krásně udržována. Majitel byl velmi milý a vstřícný. Bazén byl čistý a mohli jsme jej použít kdykoliv. V lednici nám majitel ponechal máslo, džem, rohlík, vejce, vodu a juice ke snídani. Vřele doporučuji!!!
