Situato nella Penisola di Placencia, il Maya Beach Hotel offre un ristorante, una piscina aperta tutto l'anno e sistemazioni di fronte alla spiaggia. Gorgeous, tranquil place to stay. Waking up 10m from the water was something special. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the restaurant had so many delicious food options. We used the complimentary bikes to cycle to Placencia, great to have the option but it was definitely a hot cycle! 😅

Located in San Pedro, 1.4 km from downtown and located on the beautiful Boca del Rio Beachfront, Hotel Del Rio provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. The staff helped me arrange a surprise cake and balloons for my mother’s birthday and also helped us book a great snorkelling tour. A million thanks for all the help!

The rooms are excellent, with good aircon, very clean and perfect for the stay. The island is very small and its walking distance everywhere. Owner are super helpful, gave us tips of how to get to the island, are responding fast. Totally recommend the stay.

Tradewinds Paradise Villas è ubicato sul lungomare di San Pedro, a 400 metri da Playa San Pedro. Central location, just a few steps from “downtown”. (No need for a golf cart, only if you want to go to Secret Beach) As soon as you stepped on the premises, it felt like a small slice of paradise. It is really well kept and clean. Also the apartments are huge and clean. They don’t have the modern/clean aesthetic but feel really homey. And let me tell you about the staff: They really care and help out with anything they can. They are super fast with replying and flexible. I was able to be put on to an earlier flight to the island and they re-organized a taxi and check in for me 1 hour early in the matter of minutes. I really enjoyed my stay. If you don’t want the typical resort life but more of a independent vibe, this is a great place to be.
