I had a fantastic time at Ocean Escape Resort & Spa in the Cook Islands. Owners Jade and Barry have created an amazing boutique resort with exceptional attention to detail. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the well-stocked fridge, mezzanine bedroom, huge shower, utilities, small dishwasher, mood lighting and the beautiful pool. One of the standout features is BJ's bar, built smartly on stilts so as not to obstruct the stunning beach views from the poolside comforts. This place is a real secret treat, with amazing food and cocktails and lovely friendly staff. As a solo traveler, I felt very much looked out for, thanks to the excellent communication before and during my stay. Manager Elaine seamlessly set me up on activities and adventures all week, ensuring I had a memorable experience. Above all, it was the kind-hearted people involved who obviously love what they do that made my stay exceptional and comfortable. The eco-friendly design of the resort is impressive, ensuring minimal environmental impact while providing all modern comforts. The villas are spacious, beautifully decorated with a fresh coastal feel, and equipped with luxurious amenities. The staff, led by Elaine, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their attention to detail and personalized service made me feel truly pampered. Whether it was enjoying a local beer by the poolside BBQ or relaxing on the outdoor daybed, every moment was pure bliss. I couldn't recommend Ocean Escape Resort & Spa enough to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious escape. It's the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience the beauty of the Cook Islands.

Located in Avarua, a 9-minute walk from Avarua Beach, Sands of Rarotonga Hotel has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The place is perfect for exploring the local culture. It’s close to the museum, library, church, and there are several restaurants nearby, as well as the Saturday market. You don’t need a car because the bus stop is just a few minutes away. The best part, of course, was the amazing staff who truly cared about me during my stay and pick me up from the airport and a different accommodation. I stayed twice at this small hotel. The pool is great, and breakfast at The Trout was fantastic. If you are picky with cleaning, this is your place 😉

Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodations located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Location was out of this world beautiful. White sand, gorgeous palms, turquoise water. Wonderful fresh local breakfast, sweet staff, beautiful room with ability to cook in. Super clean, easy parking.

Located in Amuri, a few steps from Aitutaki Beach, Resort Tava'e has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. The room and facility are super clean and tidy. Staff are very friendly and available. We booked a poolside room and it’s only 1 min walk to the beach. They also provide gears and paddles & kayaks for use, they are available right on the beach. We stayed for two nights and everything is just wonderful.

Located in Arutanga, a few steps from Aitutaki Beach, Matriki Beach Huts has accommodations with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. The huts are a few steps to the water and surrounded by palms and trees. Just what you need to be in a South Seas paradise.

Located directly on the beachfront, The Passage Villas is set on 1 acre of gardens and beach. It offers a swimming pool and free tropical breakfast on your first morning. We loved the quiet location, the beach was right there and we got to watch whales while cruising at the bar. It was such a beautiful view! The rooms were big and the hosts were so KIND! They offered many helpful tips and even offered us a shuttle to the market for dinner, they went above and beyond!

Muri Beach Club Hotel, an adults only oasis from 18years and over is ideally located on the beachfront at Muri Lagoon. Beachfront rooms have stunning views over the lagoon and off-shore islands. Absolutely fabulous location with direct beach access opposite gorgeous little islands that you can swim, snorkel or paddle to. It’s within walking distance of the Night Markets, restaurants and shops. They have a complimentary cocktail and canapés for guests each day.

Located in Amuri in the Aitutaki region and Aitutaki Beach reachable within a 9-minute walk, Sunny Beach Lodge has accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. We stayed 3 nights and all was great !! Niki arranged a snorkeling trip which was excellent!! Niki was an amazing host and checked in on us , making our stay feel special . Thanks for a memorable trip !
