I had a fantastic time at Ocean Escape Resort & Spa in the Cook Islands. Owners Jade and Barry have created an amazing boutique resort with exceptional attention to detail. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the well-stocked fridge, mezzanine bedroom, huge shower, utilities, small dishwasher, mood lighting and the beautiful pool. One of the standout features is BJ's bar, built smartly on stilts so as not to obstruct the stunning beach views from the poolside comforts. This place is a real secret treat, with amazing food and cocktails and lovely friendly staff. As a solo traveler, I felt very much looked out for, thanks to the excellent communication before and during my stay. Manager Elaine seamlessly set me up on activities and adventures all week, ensuring I had a memorable experience. Above all, it was the kind-hearted people involved who obviously love what they do that made my stay exceptional and comfortable. The eco-friendly design of the resort is impressive, ensuring minimal environmental impact while providing all modern comforts. The villas are spacious, beautifully decorated with a fresh coastal feel, and equipped with luxurious amenities. The staff, led by Elaine, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Their attention to detail and personalized service made me feel truly pampered. Whether it was enjoying a local beer by the poolside BBQ or relaxing on the outdoor daybed, every moment was pure bliss. I couldn't recommend Ocean Escape Resort & Spa enough to anyone looking for a tranquil and luxurious escape. It's the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and experience the beauty of the Cook Islands.

600 metres from Aitutaki Beach, Sunset Bungalows is situated in Amuri and provides free WiFi and concierge services.

Situated in Arutanga, a few steps from Aitutaki Beach, Matriki Beach Huts features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Great location for snorkelling etc. Great host who was able to take to take us out on his boat to see the whales, turtles, clams etc for an excellent price and who also had local knowledge of the area. Groovy little huts to stay in.

Muri Beach Club Hotel, an adults only oasis from 18years and over is ideally located on the beachfront at Muri Lagoon. Beachfront rooms have stunning views over the lagoon and off-shore islands. Exceptionally clean. Professional and generally friendly staff. Facilities, beach, breakfast all excellent.

Tai Roto Bay offers spacious, authentic accommodation located on its own private beach on the southern tip from Ootu beach. It is a beach front property and safe to swim at all tides. Breakfast had too much fruit blends. Orange or pineapple would have been better. Location brilliant 👏.

Situated directly on the beachfront, The Passage Villas is set on 1 acre of gardens and beach. It offers a swimming pool and free tropical breakfast on your first morning. Beach house was tidy and cozy. Ac worked very well. Svein was absolutely fantastic host and so helpfull with everything !

Set in Amuri, a few steps from Aitutaki Beach, Resort Tava'e offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Down to earth - very friendly - laid back but not lazy - clean and focused on customer satisfaction

Situated in Amuri in the Aitutaki region and Aitutaki Beach reachable within 800 metres, Sunny Beach Lodge features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Sunny Beach was a good location. From outside the apartments looked like nothing special but when you walk inside you realise how nice it is for budget accommodation. A very big clean space equipped with everything you require. Luckily we stayed here when we encountered 36 hours of torrential rain. Access to Netflix & other movies. Niki was away at the time but his extended family made sure we were okay & we had everything, they even offered to drive us to the market so we didn't get wet. Once the weather cleared there were pushbikes & paddle boards etc to use. Also everything you need was close by. Meeting the family as well as Niki when he returned was really was one of our highlights staying on Aitutaki.
