I had a medical emergency in a remote place in CR after I had checked out. I was in urgent need of a medication and that was available in Uvita. The only person I knew was Gilberto and he arranged through his personal connection someone who delivered me a life saving medicine driving four hours on a bike in middle of a rainforest at midnight as the medication had to be administered same day!

Featuring an extensive garden, a sun terrace with swimming pool, spa treatments and free Wi-Fi throughout, this hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Arenal Volcano National Park and from La Fortuna... The views from the window in our room was priceless. Great breakfast served in a beautiful deck overlooking the Arenal mountain. The room is spotless, large and convenient. And the sunken bar in the thermal pool, was amazing. The food in the bar was good too.

The rooms have a fabulous view of the volcano and it’s a short drive or longer walk to town. The rooms are cleaned daily. The staff are very helpful and kind. There’s a shared tea / coffee area and pool. Really great value. We loved our stay here.

Situated on the banks of River Baru, Hotel Villas Río Mar is also within a walking distance of 900 metres from the Village of Dominical. Everything was just amazing. We truly enjoyed the beautiful garden and really nice pool with swim up bar. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Really nice patio area to relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also loved the quiet and relaxing vibe during our entire stay. Highly recommended.

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. Beautiful garden and breakfast area, every morning you can observe a variety of birds right in front of the rooms, in the hotel garden! All the staff were very friendly, the rooms were cosy and the breakfast was tasty. The location of the hotel is also very conveniently close to La Fortuna town centre. We really liked our stay at Hotel Secreto!

Cabañas del Rio státar af garðútsýni og býður upp á gistingu með sundlaug með útsýni og verönd, í um 4,6 km fjarlægð frá La Fortuna-fossinum. Great included night walk to see the frogs. Big and convenient apartment. Nice pool. Super friendly staff that even prepared a very tasty breakfast for us at 5am.
