Excellent place. All staff are excellent. Location amazing. Hot pools a looot of fun. Pool bar excellent. Good restaurants and breakfast The older rooms are higher up on the hill and have a great view Great activities even though we didn’t do as much as we wanted

Situated on the banks of River Baru, Hotel Villas Río Mar is also within a walking distance of 900 metres from the Village of Dominical. Amazing property with lots of wildlife without even having to leave the hotel grounds. Restaurant was really good and the included breakfast was amazing.

Centrally located in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca town centre and just a 3-minute walk from Salsa Brava Beach, Hotel Indalo adults only features an extensive garden, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi. Struttura eccellente. Pulita, luminosità, moderna e dotata di ogni comodità. Bella gente, silenziosa pur avendo una posizione super centrale! Se per voi non avere una cucina non è un grosso problema in vacanza, non esitate a soggiornare qui per tutto il tempo. Eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo

Ubicato a Uvita, a 13 km da Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary, Ballena Rey Hotel propone una piscina all'aperto, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un giardino e una sala comune. La camera era spaziosa e molto pulita con anche tutto il necessario per cucinare. La colazione era eccezionale e lo staff molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante ed era tutto buonissimo.

Posizionato a Fortuna, a 10 km da Cascata La Fortuna, Arenal Manoa Resort & Hot Springs mette a disposizione un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito, una terrazza e un ristorante. Excellent service, property, facilities, food, and experience overall. Everyone made sure we felt welcome every step of the way and were even able to accommodate our dietary restrictions. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. The pictures don’t do it justice (the rooms are actually nicer than depicted on some of the photos!). They made our stay extra special by bringing treats to celebrate my mom’s birthday and Mother’s Day. We so much appreciate all the kindness and these sweet little gestures.

Posizionato a Fortuna, a 4,6 km da Cascata La Fortuna, Cabañas del Rio mette a disposizione una piscina all'aperto, un parcheggio privato gratuito e un giardino. Everything was clean, and all the staff was so nice. Tasty huge breakfast on the covered patio at the back of the property with views of a bird feeder. We saw even the toucans! The owner has a telescope to let the guests view the birds. It felt special to have Leo lead the night tour of their garden to look for frogs, for every guestroom separately (we stayed 3 nights). The beds are huge and comfortable. There are 3 AC units in the huge main room which has 2 sections for 2 of the king beds, and the cold air overflows into the 3rd bedroom too. Beautiful heated pool with sunbeds. It is only a couple of minutes to drive/taxi into La Fortuna town for many restaurants and services, and some of the attractions of the area are closeby (La Fortuna waterfall, El Salto, some of the tours / farms - we visited Finca Educativa Don Juan behind the property and liked it a lot). We could have had laundry done too. Communication excellent. We wish them all the best!

Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. La Roca Negra is like staying in paradise! The wildlife is amazing, particularly the birds. I saw dozens of species, just walking around, including many humming birds, tanegers, and a white hawk. I also spotted a family of agouti. When the weather clears there is also a view of the volcano.
