Proprio sul lungomare, Hotel Savana offre alloggi a 3 stelle a São Filipe e presenta una piscina all'aperto, un giardino e una terrazza. I have stayed here twice and really enjoyed it. The views from the public terrace of Sao Filipe are stunning. I stayed in the luxury room 10 two nights and it was so beautiful with a very high ceiling, a full two door window that opens to purple bougainvillea and the same gorgeous view as the terrace. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have tried in my life, firm but still soft. The workers are nice and helpful if you need any help planning a trip to the volcano, etc. The owner is generous and kind and the atmosphere among the staff is comfortable. Breakfast is a fancy version of a typical Cabo Verde breakfast: white bread, boiled eggs, guava jelly, Fogo traditional cheese, papaya, etc. The location is in the heart of Sao Filipe and walking distance to all the restaurants and the black beach.

Situato a Mindelo, a 1,2 km da Praia Da Laginha, Santa Cruz Boutique Hotel presenta un bar e una vista sulla città. This was the best accommodation we had in Cabo Verde (between S. Vicente and Sto. Antão). We stayed here first one night and on the return from Santo Antão we stayed 2 more nights. The staff is really great and friendly. The hotel has just a good size: 11 rooms. Rooms are spacious, beds are very comfortable, hot water worked well as well as wi-fi. TV is more complicated but the staff will explain to you. There are two terraces, one at the reception level and one on the rooftop (where's also a hot tub - jacuzzi). Breakfasts were excellent, with eggs cooked on demand, good fruits and cereals, great coffee, cakes, etc. (and the staff here again so friendly). I definitely recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy some privacy, with few guests and to be just in the city centre. We were so happy coming back here after staying 8 nights in Santo Antão.
