The owner is extremely helpful and super nice, you can start the tour of the Lalibela churches even immediately after the arrival, they also organise the transfer from the airport and recommend the restaurants. Lalibela is actually more of a village than a town so if you compare the accommodation with the surroundings it's like the local Ritz. And the people are really amazingly nice and helpful.

He is willing to offer his valuable advise and beyond that support with organizing things. Simon is authentically friendly and hospitable, always available and helpful but never intrusive or pushy. You can feel that he must treat his staff very well as they all share the same style. I can wholeheartedly recommend his house as base for a stay in this area. And: The lodge is strategically located right at the fence of the caste-complex and has - from the terrasse - a great view.

Everything was perfect and this is, honestly, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! Rooms are huge, very clean, very comfy beds with different pillow types.The views from the hotel are astonishing. Hotel staff was very kind and going extra mile to help.Also the manager, Mrs Miracle is such a great person. I will for sure use this hotel on all my trips to Gondar!

Birhan made all the arrangements perfectly about our transfer from the airport , the visit to the unique churches and our meals. The hospitality we had was memorable! The owner so gentle and hospitable. Definetely we recommend it for anyone that wants to visit Lalibela!

We had a wonderful stay in Lalibela. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with anything we needed. They supported us in arranging both a knowledgeable local guide and a smooth transfer. The hotel stuff served very tasty meals for lunch and dinners. From each balcony the views were simply breathtaking we had two rooms and both offered incredible panoramas. Everything was clean. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lalibela.
