The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us tips for the city and went out of their way to ask about the correct bus stop for our onward journey. This Vágar Island hotel is situated in the picturesque fishing village of Sørvágur, just a 2-minute walk from Vágar Airport. It offers free parking and impressive views of the landscape. The hotel is very new and right beside the airport, easy walking distance. Modern and clean with great staff. Perfect for an early flight.

Mølin Guesthouse features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Skálavík. Guests can enjoy sea views. Great place, although on one of the southern islands, meaning we had a drive to Torshavn every day, through the tunnel, extra cost and extra miles. It's a great place, though. Hosts were super nice. Location is very peaceful, if you're willing to do the extra miles. Nice café. And the lamb stew served in the restaurant was to die for!!! As well as the home made icecream. Super delicious!! Nice hosts, willing to tell about their lives on the Faroe Islands. And the surroundings-beautiful!! Would defenitely come back, for a night or two and do some hiking nearby!
