Situated in Accra, 4 km from Independence Arch, The Pelican Hotel Cantonments Accra features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a shared lounge. Everyone was so welcoming when we arrived. They allowed us a late check out as our flight home was in the evening. All the staff we encountered were fab, especially the manager Ali and Clement, Michael & Bismark. The rooms were clean and well stocked with supplies. Breakfast was a feast, and dinner at the restaurant was delicious and well priced. The hotel definitely holds it own against others, including 5 stars in the area. I would highly recommend checking it out.

Situated in Kumasi, 10 km from Baba Yara Stadium, PRESTIGE Guesthouse, Ksi features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar. Viesu nams atrodas ne pašā centrā, bet drošā un klusā rajonā. Viesu nebija daudz, līdz ar to lieliska atpūta no pilsētas burzmas. Numuriņš bija ļoti liels. Cenas un viesnīcas attiecība ir ļoti laba. Personāls ir ļoti draudzīgs un izpalīdzīgs. Man šī viesnīca ļoti patika. Vēlos piebilst, ka tiem, kas gaida Radisson vai Kempinski līmeni, to te nesagaidīs, kur visās valstīs ir vienādi numuriņi, lai tādā pagulētu, uz Ganu nav jābrauc, tādā varu pagulēt Latvijā vai Norvēģijā. Šī viesnīca ir, kur labāk izbaudīt tieši Ganas autentiskumu vislabākajā nozīmē. Kā arī vēlos piebilst, ka personāls bija ļoti pretīmnākošs nosūtot rezervācijas apstiprinājumam priekš vīzas saņemšanas ieceļošanai Ganā.

Viesnīca ir klusa, kopā laikam ir tikai 11 numuriņi, citus viesus ļoti daudz neredzēju, pie baseina bijām mēs vieni vienmēr, kas deva mums ļoti individuālu, mierīgu sajūtu. Personāls bija ļoti pretīmnākošs un jauks. Ar interesi atbildēja uz visiem jautājumiem.

Located in Elmina, 3.4 km from Elmina Castle, Pito Guest House provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The location is a bit outside Elmina town, but close enough to walk. It also provides a panoramic view of town and castle. The a-la-carte breakfast menu was a pleasant surprise, and food was overall good and tasty. It's a new place which is beautifully furnished and decorated. Our room had a small balcony, which was perfect to watch the sunrise.

Situated in Butre, 2.2 km from Busua Beach, Afro Beach eco Resort Butre features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Great breakfast, REAL coffee in French Press and delicious cuisine in general, especially fresh fish with banku. In general, I have visited many resorts in the close Busua area (as well as many other resorts in Ghana), but Afro Beach is genuinely something completely different. It is a unique combination of place (calm, quiet, untouched), housing (new and done thoughtfully with a passion), and personal (especially the owner - Francis - who is one of the most interesting people I have met). His motto (that he wants people to be happy) is not just a phrase. He can provide anything you want, also walking with you to a party in Busua or to Butre and so on and so forth. So, don't hesitate to visit Afro Beach; even Francis' story and personality are entirely worthy of doing so.

Covenant Hotel is located in Accra, within 18 km of Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and 18 km of Independence Arch. The room was clean and the place looked neat and simple. It actually exceeded my expectations. All the needed amenities were there and the receptionist was professional.

Situated in Wa, 8.5 km from Palace of the Wa Na, Kamara Lakeview Hotel features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. I have sleep in many hotels across the world, but this hotel is really beautiful. I like the interior deco and everything. I really love it.. Will be returning there soon.. I will do my room same design

Featuring a bar, GIDI LODGE is located in Tamale. The hotel provides both free WiFi and free private parking. I stayed here for almost a month and tried AirBnB and other hotels in Tamale before. Compared to all other options, this is by far the best value you can get. A small room is 250 GHS and a big room 300 GHS. The location is extremely clean, the rooms are bright with a lot of sunlight, the managing receptionist is very courteous and professional, and the hotel is right in the center of Tamale. Due to the double double glazed windows (IRRC), the noise from the main street was reduced considerably. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. Notably, there were no issues with electricity. At the AirBnB around Tuunayili Last Stop where I stayed for 2 months previously (same price), blackouts were a huge issue - about 3 times a week, for several hours. The record was 18 hours no electricity. At Gidi Lodge, the personnel is using backup generators. All hotels and AirBnBs in that price range won't use backup generators to save fuel. For a backup generator, you usually have to pay at least 50€ or more per night. The internet at the Gidi Lodge was fine, and the water was also running (which is not to be taken for granted). Overall, this is an exceptionally well-run hotel. After moving to the next town, I really miss Gidi Lodge. Anyone visiting Tamale should definitely book this place.
