This was a great place to stay as we had already spent a month in town, but would also be good if you want to be away from the noise and bustle of the town.

The building itself is beautiful, with a maze of courtyards, dining rooms, rooftop sitting/eating areas, shops, spa business etc. Our room was compact but beautifully appointed. The hotel provides a water station to reduce the use of plastics. A request for an iron and extra coat hangers was promptly actioned. The bed was very comfortable and we always managed to have restful sleeps. We had a very early start at 3:30am on day -travelling to Copan. Juan Jose was very helpful assisting us in contacting the transfer company when they did not arrive on time. All in all a very nice stay.

Stunning place, we lived in the back bungalow which is huge and a really comfortable and cozy place. The front house is breathtaking with the pool, open area and the kitchen. The communication is really easy and Emi/Alex are really helpful. El Paredon is nice surfer town with great vibes.

The breakfasts were delicious and at night you can't miss the fireplace in the dining room which is perfect for a good wine, hot chocolate or coffee. The views of the lake with the volcanoes are spectacular at any time of day and the hotel is perfect for simply taking a break and enjoying what the day has to offer.

When you enter through a small door, prepare yourself to be transported to another place and time. In this innovative Hotel-Museum-Spa, every traveler will enjoy a comfortable stay. There is a museum inside the hotel as it's built on an old monastery that was damaged from an earthquake. Very cool to explore. Lovely breakfast and great pool and spa area.
