Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Grand Coastal Hotel is located in Georgetown, right on the eastern shores of Demerara. It offers free WiFi and on-site parking. The breakfast and room service was great. I also enjoyed the food especially the burgers and chicken wings. I also had great service from the taxi drivers Romel and Rhaj who were very helpful.

The property is beautiful and ideally located in a relatively safe neighborhood. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant, cheerful and engaging. Special mention to Ashanti who made my arrival quite pleasant and her co-worker (the ex-tutorialite sorry I didn’t get your name) who was just as pleasant, cheerful and engaging. Hats off also to the security, kitchen staff and housekeeping with whom I shared personal stories. This is my favorite place to stay and my third time. Its accessibility to a nearby dining option is a plus. .

Only 500 metres from Georgetown’s seawall, Herdmanston Lodge Hotel offers self-catering rooms with free WiFi and flat-screen TV. There is a garden, and breakfast and dinner are provided. The welcome by the security personnel especially Christopher was so warm and friendly it made us happy and a sense of security. The office staff was very helpful especially Rehinna who was very warm and professional. The staff in general was very courteous and friendly and approachable.

My stay was only until evening because I had a flight midnight. I really appreciate the cleaning team and reception to keep my belongings and informed me immediately after my departure. Good to know honest people around you. Recommend this place for this behaviour.
