Definitely a memorable experience and would even dare to say, a mandatory stop on your Icelandic roadtrip. Not only was the breakfast the best food we had in Iceland with a great variety of fresh dishes, the location of the hotel is unique (our room had a view to the lush green mountains that are incredibly scenic), the staff was extremely kind and attentive (with a special shout out to the Portuguese gentleman) and facilities makes you stay for a longer period of time (i.e., Spa, thermal baths, ice showers and relaxation rooms overlooking the glaciers and giving an great sense of calmness and relaxation). Every staff member we interacted with were wonderful, especially Adele at the front desk and Tomas in the restaurant. This hotel is top notch and we decided to book another stay here towards the end of our trip because we loved it so much! The dinner was fabulous! We enjoyed every part of it from the homemade bread to the delicious main courses to the incredible desserts!!

Mr. Haukur , was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, sharing valuable insights about Iceland. The cozy ambiance, spacious rooms, and 24-hour coffee and drinks added to the premium feel of the hotel. It was the perfect start to our Icelandic journey. Highly recommended!

Hotel 1001 Nott opnaði í júní 2018 og býður upp á nútímalega gistingu 5 km frá Egilsstöðum. Þetta hótel er með heita potta utandyra sem eru með útsýni yfir Lagarfljótið. Einnig er bar á staðnum. Amazing! By far the best place around Egilstadir!
