Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon Hotel er staðsett á Jökulsárlóni, 11 km frá Jökulsárlóni. Boðið er upp á gistirými með líkamsræktarstöð, ókeypis einkabílastæði, veitingastað og bar. The simple, minimalistic, nordic design pondered by the stylish materials used are superb. The stuff was very nice and helpful. The amenities are almost perfect (maybe one or two more hot tubs would be useful).

Fosshotel Mývatn er staðsett við Mývatn, 6,8 km frá jarðvarmaböðunum við Mývatn. Hótelin bjóða upp á ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. Everything was perfect. Beautiful view, nice location. Room was good size, bed was comfortable not too soft.

Lighthouse Inn is a fantastic spot in Gardur only 15mins drive from the airport. We decided not to hire a car and so a taxi cost us about 6000krone from the airport and the next day we bussed into Reykjavik using the public buses. We dined at the hotel restaurant for dinner and were so well looked after by Roberto. The next morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast! We were hoping to spot the northern lights while out of the city but weren’t lucky this stay but would definitely return again as the Lighthouse Inn feels like such a treat! The lady on reception when we arrived was an absolute delight as well! You won’t be disappointed by a stay here. The facilities are top notch and a walk around the lighthouses is a must, it’s a peaceful and gorgeous place to be.

Þetta hótel er staðsett á hljóðlátum stað í 2 km fjarlægð frá Mývatni og í 30 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Goðafossi og Kröflu. Spacious room with great view. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast.

The staff was really kind and helpful. The receptionist who was there upon our arrival, shows us on the map what we can do because the weather conditions wasn’t good for the things that we have planed to do. The food in the restaurant was good and also the breakfast has many options to choose. The bed was comfortable and we have a huge window right across in order to see the sky. Till now it was the best hotel in Iceland!
