Very well located hotel in the vicinity of Lake Myvatn. The view was very nice and staff of the hotel were very helpful and friendly all the time. Satisfying breakfast as well.

There should be a different category for hotels like this: a destination hotel :-) Of course we were road tripping across Iceland, so we never stayed anywhere more than 1 night, but if we had, it would have been here: wow! The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional, you can see that they enjoy working there. The food was great, the breakfast was wonderful, the lobby is fabulous, the bar and lounge were superb. The entire design and setup of the hotel is just perfect. We had a great room with glacier (lake) view. And don't get me started on the two outdoor hot tubs and the outdoor sauna: we enjoyed it until 22:00 hrs (thank you) after a long drive, and we enjoyed the next morning at 7 AM as well. WOW!

Posizionato ad Akureyri, a 39 km da Cascata Godafoss, Hotel Halond mette a disposizione un giardino, un parcheggio privato gratuito e una terrazza. The room was new and modern, clean and spacious. Not exactly in the center of Akureyri but a very short 5-7 min drive which was great. We could park right outside the room and bring in our luggages through the terrace door. Great location for spotting the Northern Lights.

L'hotel bellissimo in generale. Ho apprezzato molto la wake up call per l'aurora boreale, dato che è non sempre si è attenti a ciò che succede fuori. La colazione era devastante, veramente buona e ricca. Il centro benessere molto comodo, cosiglio di portare delle ciabatte dato che la struttura non le procura.

Situato a Gardur, il Lighthouse-Inn offre sistemazioni con WiFi gratuito e un giardino con terrazza solarium e vista sul mare. It was good location with peaceful and beautiful scenery. The bed condition is best and delicious breakfast.The room is very clean. Please look around light house and backside of church. You can see beautiful swans and seagulls on the sea.The music through radio was also very nice. And all steffs are kind And I could see northern lights in midnight at back side of hotel. I can say the best hotel in my life as I want to live in Iceland.
