Out of season there is no breakfast offered but you can use the kitchen with a microwave, toaster & fridges. Good coffee in each room & Netflix. The town is the 2nd largest in Iceland with lots of options for dinners & breakfast.

Great, modern and comfortable hotel. Room was big, super clean and comfy. Breakfast was great! View from the hotel (front side) is beautiful. This location is great for exploring the north part of Iceland, around Myvatn lake and part of east part of the island.

Tudo estava muito bem organizado, o quarto era confortável e limpo. Estávamos tão cansados com o aproximar do fim da nossa viagem que já nem saímos mais do hotel, tendo aproveitado as suas comodidades: sala de leitura e jacuzzi. Que maravilha! Com certeza voltariamos e recomendamos para quem procura uma hospedagem de qualidade! Pequeno-Almoço era delicioso! E a equipa super atenciosa. Proximidade com montanha era incrível, sendo que tivemos acesso a dois cenários: repleto de neve e após 8h já com a neve derretida! Incrível! Obrigada!

Lighthouse Inn is a fantastic spot in Gardur only 15mins drive from the airport. We decided not to hire a car and so a taxi cost us about 6000krone from the airport and the next day we bussed into Reykjavik using the public buses. We dined at the hotel restaurant for dinner and were so well looked after by Roberto. The next morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast! We were hoping to spot the northern lights while out of the city but weren’t lucky this stay but would definitely return again as the Lighthouse Inn feels like such a treat! The lady on reception when we arrived was an absolute delight as well! You won’t be disappointed by a stay here. The facilities are top notch and a walk around the lighthouses is a must, it’s a peaceful and gorgeous place to be.

Inaugurado em Junho de 2018, o Hotel 1001 Nott disponibiliza acomodações modernas a 5 km de Egilsstadir. O hotel dispõe de banheiras de hidromassagem exteriores com vista para o Lago Lagarfljót. O quarto era maravilhoso, vista para o Lago e com muito espaço. A equipe foi muito solicita e competente. Tem duas banheiras com água termal de frente ao lago, estava perfeito. Contato com a natureza e tranquilidade.

Hótel Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon Hotel situa-se em Gerdi, a 11 km de Lagoa Glaciar Jökulsárlón, e dispõe de acomodações com um centro de fitness, estacionamento privado gratuito, um restaurante e um... Our first impression of the hotel was that it looked much larger and more beautiful than in the pictures. We stayed in the family suite, which is a spacious 50 m², perfect for the three of us. The room offers a stunning view, is clean, modern, and well-designed, with a clever TV partition separating the bed from the sofa bed. The bathroom is also impressive, featuring both a shower and a bathtub. Additionally, the room comes with a refrigerator, which was very convenient. The location is ideal for visiting nearby attractions such as Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the ice caves. The hotel’s dinner was delicious, though on the pricier side. The only downside was that the room felt too dark, and we had to request additional lamps to brighten it up.
