Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Good breakfast. Quiet, we had no problems. Clean. Good restaurant with good local dishes on ground floor but unfortunately no alcohol.

Sahara Majestic Luxury Camp features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Merzouga. during my search for the right place I became overwhelmed. I have impression that camps are covered with fake reviews, so this is true! We rented a car in Marrakech (large car for a comfortable trip). The drive there is long but good roads and interesting places along the way. suggestion is to spend the night in Ouarzazate, where you can visit a Berber village (20 km away) and the largest film studio in this part of the world. Both visits absolutely worth. The II part of the trip to the Sahara is 5.5 hours from there – total of 8.5h (can be done in 8h). There is police at almost every roundabout, but they follow protocol and the fines are not high €15–30. Communication with Mohamed was really easy. always available on WhatsApp (longest delay was a couple of hours). He wanted to give explanations and help in every way. I can tell if someone is pretending – these people are wonderful, gentle, humble, and don’t have any of the traits that tourists often fear in such places. Not a single extra euro did they want to take from us; they didn’t charge me even for water & Coce, even though I insisted. They are deeply connected to their land and genuinely want everyone to enjoy it. Merzouga, if you look at GEarth, is basically remote desert station. It is not connected to the rest of the Sahara; it’s a 10 × 30 km loop with dunes. Once you enter, it looks incredible, just like in pictures and movies, but there’s nothing to fear – even if you walked for a long time, you would always come out safely. Camps are all around, and it’s just a question of which one to choose. Everything is so vast that you won’t feel overly touristy. I was there in August, which is low season. We rode camels and it was amazing, although we also walked when our backs started to hurt. I realized: two days there is too much. Nobody stays in the desert during the day – all camps transfer people back to town because it’s unbearable. So spending the daytime there is pointless.

Located within 200 metres of Outa El Hammam Square and 300 metres of Kasba, Hotel Chefchaouen provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Chefchaouene. Kellemes szállás egy csodaszép helyen. Este volt már, amikor megérkeztünk Chefchaouen-be, azonban ugyanúgy kedvesen fogadtak, és gyorsan is ment a becsekkolás. A szobánk kellemes, a bútorok gyönyörűek, a légkondi pedig remekül hűtötte a szobát. A mi szobánk külső fürdőszobával volt ellátva, és bár van egy sejtésem, hogy azt más vendég is használta, okunk nem lehet a panaszra, minden rendben volt vele. ;) Csendesnek éppen nem mondhatnánk a szobát, de ezt csak a közelben lévő étterem számlájára lehet írni, ahonnan minden este nagyon kellemes zene szólt. :) Utóbbit akár a tetőteraszról is élvezhettük volna, ahonnan a naplemente is gyönyörű! Az utolsó napon (két napig szálltunk meg), mivel délután utaztunk csak el, a kicsekkolás után még ott hagyhattuk a csomagjainkat megőrzésre, így nyugodtan élvezhettük az utolsó napot. Emellett segítettek nekünk néhány, az elutazásunkkal kapcsolatos teendőben, amiért nagyon hálásak vagyunk, mivel rengeteg időt és aggodalmat spóroltak meg nekünk!
