I had an unforgettable stay at Handhuvaru Maldives. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making me feel right at home. I loved cycling through the beautiful palm forest, enjoying fishing excursions, and visiting the private island where I experienced some of the best snorkeling ever. I rate this paradise 11 out of 12 and can’t wait to return soon! ❤️

Everyone is nice and friendly on the island! We are very enjoying their service and facilities.

A new guesthouse—clean, tidy, and completely insect-free. The rooms have everything you need, and the property is well-maintained and pleasant. There’s a fully equipped kitchen where guests can use everything, including a constant supply of cold drinking water. A washing machine is also available. The internet is excellent! Both of us worked from our room via Wi-Fi without any issues. Housekeeping was outstanding! The breakfast was amazing—fresh fruits, juices, and, most importantly, delicious local dishes were included. Breakfast was served at a convenient time, making our mornings even better. The hosts are simply fantastic. During the rainy days, umbrellas immediately appeared in the house for all guests. They were incredibly attentive and responsive, providing us with snorkeling fins and anything else we needed. Their generosity was truly heartwarming. And a special thank you for making our celebration unforgettable! My husband and I share the same birthday, and the hosts surprised us with something truly special. March 7, 2025, will forever remain in our hearts, just like these wonderful people. Thank you, Thoodoo! Thank you, Rangali! A huge thanks to the hosts and staff for an incredible stay. You are in our hearts! This trip felt like a true piece of the Maldivian soul. Highly recommended!

I rarely write reviews, but with such outstanding service, I just can't help but give a perfect 10! I want to thank the hotel team for their warm welcome. They have their own speedboat that takes you from the airport to the island. At the start of the island, an electric bus picks you up and brings you directly to the hotel. What follows is a delightful surprise and a seamless check-in to a cozy room with panoramic windows, refreshing air conditioning, and a stunning view. A big thank you to the entire hotel team for: The complimentary island tour. The fact that the most beautiful beach on the island is just steps away from the hotel. The delicious breakfasts and dinners. The daily room cleaning. The nighttime fishing experience. Atif’s assistance with excursions, where he acted as a guide and ensured everything went smoothly. The team also provides plenty of free snorkeling gear, including masks, fins, and vests, which was fantastic. Special thanks for surprising my brother with a birthday cake—it was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Atif, Ahmed, and the entire team—you’re the best! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

Very nice and quiet location. The best local island experience. The host is very friendly and provides all the information you need. Many options for day trips and activities in reasonable prices.

This hotel is really something special. Shiyam and his team are very friendly and helpful. He takes time for his guests and is not only a very pleasant person but also an excellent host. The entire hotel is designed with attention to detail, from the rooms to the relaxed courtyard. The name “Oasis” is 100% accurate. The rooms are very clean and new. The authentic food is always delicious and there are many different activities on offer, such as snorkeling trips, renting bikes or motorbikes. There's really nothing negative to report. I will come here again when I return to the beautiful island of Dhigurah. Thank you very much Shiyam and see you next time

I had an incredible stay at Hudhufas Villa. The accommodation was absolutely perfect. The room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely balcony that overlooked a beautiful garden. You can tell the owner really cares about the details, from the comfortable amenities to the thoughtful touches throughout the villa. It truly made our vacation even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-maintained, and welcoming spot in the Thoddoo!

Like everyone before us has said, Isla Retreat is a gem. It is a wonderful hotel, decorated with great taste, creating a warm atmosphere. It is very, very clean, with rooms and the restaurant offering amazing views. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are always fresh and tasty. What truly makes this place so special and rich is the staff, who make you feel like you're at a friend's house—always there to help, so friendly, and so welcoming. We also fell in love with the two little cats doing stand-up paddle as well as the owner ;-). You can take bicycles to explore the island, which we loved. You can also enjoy stand-up paddles, and there's a wonderful beach right next to the hotel, plus many beautiful beaches (both bikini and non-bikini) around the island. The island itself is a gem—still natural and not crowded, where you can feel the Maldivian culture and experience the way people live. Once again, everyone was so welcoming. And let's not forget all the amazing trips you can take with the Isla Retreat staff: manta snorkeling, rose reef garden snorkeling, sea turtles, dolphins at sunset, little sharks, bioluminescent plankton, sandbanks or simply admiring the stunning night sky full of stars. We recently had the opportunity to stay at a family-run guesthouse on five different islands in the Maldives, and we can confidently say that the guesthouse we stayed at was by far the best of them all. Not only was the service and hospitality exceptional, but the island itself was a true paradise. The beautiful nature and stunning beaches were truly breathtaking. The crystal clear water and white sandy beaches were like something out of a postcard. We spent many hours exploring the island and its surroundings, taking in the breathtaking views of the ocean and the lush vegetation. The island is surrounded by coral reefs teeming with colorful fish and marine life, which made snorkeling a highlight of our stay. We were lucky enough to see mantas, dolphins, sharks, sting rays and many more fascinating sea creatures during our stay. The snorkeling and diving opportunities were truly exceptional, we even came close to seeing a whale shark by an hour but unfortunately missed it. But what truly made this family-run guesthouse stand out was the exceptional personal service provided by the staff. The owners and staff went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They were always available to help with any requests or questions we had, and they truly made us feel like valued guests. A special touch to our stay was that we were served breakfast and lunch directly on the beach (different spots) which made our experience even more special and memorable. In short, if you are looking for a Maldives vacation that offers the best of both worlds - exceptional service, beautiful island, stunning beaches, amazing marine life, and a family-run atmosphere - then this guesthouse is the perfect choice. It was hands down the best stay we had on the whole Maldives, and we cannot recommend it enough.

From the start everything was super, communication with people before we traveled, they organised transfer for us, greeted us with nice refreshing drinks and gave us all useful information. We had room on the ground floor that looked at the bikini beach and sea. On the white sandy beach we had beach beds and table and chairs. Now about the sea (well ocean)…crystal clear water and part where you can swim and house reef where you can snorkel and see amazing colourful fish. Staff was amazing (I am terrible with names), but every single member of staff was friendly and polite, from our waiter, Sri Lankan chef, hotel manager…everyone. They organised trips for us. Out of many different trips we chose 3. We had Dolphin Safari where we saw 100’s of dolphins and took amazing photos and videos. Then we had snorkelling trip to see turtles and again we took some great pics and videos. Our guide even took my GoPro and filmed us swimming with turtles. Unforgettable experience! We also had Night Fishing trip, where we caught many fishes, like tuna, barracuda, red snapper etc. Then they prepared most amazing beach dinner with our catch. In the restaurant you have a choice between continental breakfast and local one (many times we had both of them). Also you can eat pancakes with various toppings and there was always cold juice and water. For dinner you have different choices, like various soups to start with, then various curries, rice and noodle dishes, fish, various ways of chicken, pizzas, burgers…and desert at the end. We were very happy with food. I can highly recommend Belmars Beach and will definitely come back at some point, as we had a brilliant time there.

Thanks to Mippo we had the most wonderful trip to see four mantas together! Accomodation is really nice, comfortable beds, everything was clean. :)

We had an amazing stay. The whole team of dive and sleep made everything easy. The room was great, with a lot of space, nice bathroom and also an outside space where we could sit in the night or let our wet clothes dry. The food was delicious, they prepared us breakfast, lunch and dinner every day with fresh ingredients and delicious fish. The dive experience was everything we could hope for and they made it very easy, with great preparation. We saw whalesharks, turtles, mantas, sting rays, white tip sharks, grey reef and many more and everything went smooth! The whole team was very nice and helpful at all times. The island itself is a little paradise. I can 100% recommend it!
