Hotels in the Maldives

If you haven’t been to Rattehi Inn can you even say you’ve experienced the essence of the Maldives?!?! We’ve been traveling full time for 3 years now and this is hands down the best all-around experience we have ever had anywhere in the world! The rooms are very comfortable and modern. Wifi was great throughout the property. Lots of comfy spots to lounge. The on-site restaurant had lots of varied options on the menu and was open to modifications for pickier eaters. (My husband is the pickiest vegetarian on the planet and he loved it!) The beach is top tier with lots to explore, lots to do, and lots of sea life. (We saw eels, rays, small sharks, tropical fish and dolphins off of the reef) I have never been so relaxed. The staff (Ratte, Irash, Niya, Dominga, the Captain and everyone!) made us feel welcome and a part of the family from the second we got off the boat to the second we got back on one to leave. Their generosity of time, spirit, adventure, attention to detail, caring and knowledge made this stay pure magic for us. Beyond any and all expectations! If we could stay there forever we would! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A fantastic place! Just like in the photos. In the best way possible, feels more like a nice Airbnb, not a typical guest house with a row of rooms. On my last night, other guests already checked out, so the villa was all for me. Atmosphere: The design is simple and beautiful. Patio on the ground floor serves as your breakfast "hall". You let them know every evening what you'd like for breakfast and what time (I always asked for Maldivian breakfast - delicious mas honi with different vegetables and fruits). There are just four rooms, each very spacious and clean, with a good new AC and a ceiling fan. There is a super inviting terrace on the second floor with sun beds, bean bags, and a coffee table, where you can relax in the sun or chill in the shade. Also great for star watching at night! Perks: Freshest fruit and chilled coconut as welcome treats 😊 A great plus - free unlimited purified water, super helpful. You can use the kitchenette to make tea, coffee, cut up fruit. I know there is a small fee for using the kitchen for proper cooking, but I didn't cook, so don't know the details. Rooms are cleaned every day, the beddings changed every third day. The bed is super comfy, linens crisp, and towels soft. Communication: The owner speaks great English and is fast to reply on WhatsApp (same phone as in the villa listing). His mother is a lovely friendly lady (she will cook local flat breads for you every day, fresh and hot!) She gave me a goodbye present because I was such a lovely guest 😊 beautiful souvenirs from the sea that she collected and made herself. Diving etc: There is a tour operator nearby, or you can ask the villa owner directly to organize diving, fishing etc. I spent my days swimming and relaxing, so don't know the details. Trasfer and waiting for your flight: It was my first time in Maldives, so smooth transfer was important. Very well organized indeed! There was somebody to meet and direct me every step of the way.

We stayed here 9 nights and we couldn't be happier! The place is very nice, it is always clean, the bedrooms are very comfortable and they are also always impeccable. The hotel offers free bikes, it's a plus on hot days! The hotel is also very well located near the centre and the beach. The breakfast area is very cosy outdoors with a very relaxing garden and view. The staff is always present and is very friendly and kind. Special mention to Waruna who attended us at breakfast and cleaned our room daily, always with a smile and well predisposed. Also to Anoof who received us the first day, gave us the information we needed about the island and helped us with everything we needed. We also did the whaleshark excursion and we had a very good guide, it was an unforgettable experience. I recommend this place without hesitation to spend your days in Dhigurah :)

All of the staff were very nice and caring, all the dives were amazing, very quiet and chill environment. Meals are amazing! All the three of them.

Of all the travels that we have done and all the hotels that we have stayed in so far, we have never experienced such an attentive host, for all the requests, be it our choice of breakfast be it arranging water sports or anything else the host went above and beyond to ensure we have a pleasant stay throughout, it is also as a very budget friendly island with all facilities available.Highly recommended for any families planning to visit Maldives to visit Gaafaru and stay in Futtaru Sands.

The location is perfect, you can see the whole beauty of nature just in few minutes of walking, blue lagoon is amazing, the staff is great, the chef is very good, the food and coffee is gorgeous. I would like to come back.

Designer hotel, outstanding facilities. Beautiful views from any window! Very prompt and kind assistance of all staff. Chef will serve you a local reef fish like in a 5 star hotel. Absolutely loved our stay. Don’t forget to visit wild white sand bikini beach with sand banks, which is at the very end of the island🏝️ , it’s impressive.

This place is absolutely stunning! They’ve done an amazing job preserving the island’s natural beauty, and everything is focused on sustainability. The staff are super polite and professional they take care of every little detail from the moment you land in Malé. The boat ride is quite long but so worth it. We were welcomed with drinks and cold towels, and had a quick briefing to get to know the hotel concept and all the activities. Luis and Lucy were always around and ready to help with anything we needed! The buffet was incredible every single day fresh, healthy, and super tasty. Big shoutout to Ridoy and Rassika, who made us feel right at home every time we went to grab something to eat 🤍 I had the best massage in their spa, it’s a beautiful and clean space. The tours were amazing, especially the Ecoboo cruise. Inke and Ayan made everything more fun and captured the best memories for us with awesome photos and videos. Can’t recommend it enough I’ll definitely be coming back!

The staff were very friendly, location was an around 10 minute walk to the beach, you can also cycle (bikes always available). Close to shops and restaurants. I requested for them to decorate the room for my friends birthday and they did without hesitation! Thank so much Musa and the other staff for making our holiday so special. We would definitely be back!
