One can not but feel welcome when you are personally greeted by Natalia Nailenge as you step out of the vehicle.Welcome rooibos tea cocktails offered by a smiling Hambeleleni Nakapandi. Dinner was from heaven for Chef Selma E Shigwedha prepared exeptional Oryx steaks with beautiful side dishes after our evening drive. Amber and Tristan Muller - manager/guide I booked an evening drive but only morning drives are done, but these two young people went above and beyond to make an evening drive possible and Richardo had lovely sundowner drinks and snacks ready and available on our arrival at the viewing area. Johannes controlled everything fire, from the inviting camp fire on arrival back from our drive to every room's boiler fire for our hot water. Not only was our visit and drive fantastic, it was also educational. Amber and Tristan shared their passion for protecting the rhino in their care and about the 'Rhino Momma Project" 'More time to visit' is definitely on my list for next time.

This place would be a great weekend get-away from Windhoek,or as it was for us a first stop out of the city on our way to places further abroad. Upon arrival the first thing we saw was a rhino in the road, it was beautiful and a good start to our journey. We loved the 2 bedroom chalet we stayed in - it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The lodge itself was well laid out and beautiful, it even had a little driving range to hit balls into the bush! We went on the sundowner game drive and got to see lots of animals on the preserve up close.

Heinitzburg Boutique Hotel is a restored castle with a unique architecture, set on top of a hill in Windhoek. It features a pool in a manicured garden, a wine cellar and two restaurants. This is a very charming, historical property with a beautiful restaurant and an excellent view. The staff was incredibly accommodating. They arranged for both a massage and a city tour on short notice. The room was unique and very comfortable. There is also a resident cat who charms the guests. I would stay here again.

At Zannier Sonop, rooms include a desk. unreal experience - it was magical and place was beautiful staff - friendly and caring - Tammy at reception was amazing to make sure we are comfortable with everything. Floyd was in charge of activities and treated us like friends & family - experienced guy all other supporting staff ware amazing too room was amazing, beautiful and with a great view - felt like a dream food was amazing and all the preparation was on point - view from every point of the property was magical. we did bike riding and horse riding activities and it was a great experience. to top it all while leaving the property they packed lunch boxes for us to eat on the way as it was a very long drive.
