Located in Koumac and with Plage de Pandop reachable within 2.8 km, Le Passiflore provides express check-in and check-out, rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. What I liked about the hotel is the interaction with the local people. It offers local touch in the reception; the hotel had a lovely shop which visitors can buy locally sourced/crafted gifts. Common area had an inviting atmosphere. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful to recommend activities in Koumak.

Offering an outdoor pool, Hotel Tieti is situated in Poindimié. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free private parking and free WiFi are available. We ate at the restaurant both nights we stayed at Tieti and were happy with the food on both occasions. The first night buffet was particularly good. We had a beach front bungalow which was very spacious and comfortable with a nice verandah looking onto the beach. Sound of the waves, very tranquil.

Located on the edge of the beach, the Beaurivage hotel is positioned on Nouméa's most popular promenade, the Roger Laroque promenade. The room was spacious, airy and great natural light. Being really close to the beach meant I could have an early morning swim easily. As we were in the back part of the hotel it was relatively quiet, considering Baies de Citrons is renowned for it's spirited nature. Staff were always helpful and friendly. My brother and I took our 82 year old mother to New Caledonia for a holiday and the staff ensured she had a lovely stay. She really felt looked after there. Easy walking distance to a number of cafes and restaurants, bars.

Facing Anse Vata Beach, Chateau Royal Beach Resort & Spa boasts a day spa with an indoor pool, a fitness centre, 2 restaurants and 2 bars overlooking the lagoon. Loved our stay here - pool, location, breakfast!! Staff were super sweet! Ocean view top notch!!

Hilton Noumea La Promenade Residences is located on l’Anse Vata Bay in Nouméa. It overlooks the sea and coral reef, and features a fitness centre and a swimming pool (heated in winter months). Great size of accoms for our group. Fantastic views. The whole family looked forward to the breakfasts.

Set in Koné, Hotel Colibri offers 3-star accommodation with a garden. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The room was gorgeous and very big! They had everything I needed and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The staff at the reception was so extremely nice and caring. He made sure we were all set. We didn’t have a car so he was worried and organise transportation for us from the hotel to the bus stop the next day.
