All night you can wait for the coming of Freddie Cruiger or Michael Myers. You don't have a building lock and can not find a person on the street. This is a wild island and all night dogs are barking.

I met the owner on the flight to Niue (small world). Very nice and respectful guy. He waited until I clear immigration/customs and get my car rental to show me the property (which he didn’t really need to do). The property is great and a much better alternative to the overcrowded resorts. It is cozy and felt like home. The area is a couple of minutes from town. Definitely recommend staying here to really get a feel of the island
