Words cannot express how beautiful this place is! Set right in the mountains, it’s a magical experience! The additional touches of the pool and canoeing in the wadi was gorgeous. The food was also so delicious!! I can’t recommend this place enough!

We stayed at JW Marriott for 6 days . It’s Muscat’s best kept secret, Nancy samy at the reception was an angel , she helped with taxi booking etc . Sanjay at the reception. The staff at breakfast in the coffee lounge was wonderful. We deeply thank Gopika , the chef , kitchen team , Rati , Jake , Naveen & Shamol made it a dream vacation for my elderly mum , son & me . He was incredibly kind—driving us around the city in his own car, showing us the sights, and sharing Omani hospitality at its finest. But the surprises didn’t stop there! He invited us into his home, introduced us to his family, and his wife adorned our hands with delicate **paint tattoos (henna)**. Throughout our stay, he took such good care of us—helping plan our trips, sharing stories of local life, and making us feel like honored guests. The hotel itself was a dream: immaculate, cozy, and luxurious, with a sunlit courtyard blooming with fragrant flowers. Thanks to them, I didn’t just leave with memories—I left with **friends in Oman**. A thousand thanks for making our journey so magical! We’ll be back!

Royal desert camp menawarkan penginapan di Al Raka. Terdapat tempat parking peribadi percuma dan tempat penginapan ini mempunyai khidmat shuttle lapangan terbang berbayar. The tents are very authentic, the beds are big and comfortable. The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.
