The room is in fact a small studio equipped with everything you need (beg bed, air-con, full kitchen incl. a dishwasher) and a great terrace. The strong wifi signal and free-of-charge canoes were a nice surprise.

You better have a rental car or scooter to explore the island, but hosts are happy to help and have special offers. Very nice beaches nearby with good snorkeling.

Allar eru með flugnanet og stofu með sjónvarpi.... The setting was fabulous! And the owner was beyond helpful. The only drawback was the distance from the main town. The lovely view, proximity to a hiking trail and UNESCO site made up for that.

Everything about this lodge is amazing. Check in is easy and the staff is absolutely amazing. Our room (4) was the perfect location to the beach and community room. Plus, you get pretty good internet in this room. The breakfast chocolate croissants and fresh fruit were just amazing!!!! And the reef out front is paradise.

Eyja Orna og Maeva Komdu og upplifðu einstakt líf Eden Taha'a Viđ opnum dyr tũndu paradísarinnar fyrir ykkur. What a beautiful place! Everything is incredible, every corner is gorgeous. The staff is amazing, the food is delicious, the facilities are very good. They called it "eden" and it's just a paradise.

This is such a wonderful property- the years of care and personal time invested by the owner and staff are evident in every turn. Location is so convenient, but when there you feel separated from the daily life of the island enterprises. It’s a little slice of heaven on Moorea. The grounds of the hotel itself are fascinating and overflowing with tropical trees and flowers and statuary. The cats are so friendly and make it feel like home (but we love animals). The entire staff want nothing more than for you to relax and enjoy and will go out of their way to assist you with anything they can. They were all so nice and helpful and pleasant. We ordered breakfast each night and it was delivered promptly the next morning and was delicious every day. We were out exploring or doing activities most days so weren’t there much during the daytime. We had a couple nice dinners out and had delivery from Holy Moly Steakhouse one night when we wanted to stay in. So several choices for dining options in your suite or nearby depending on your schedule and preferences. We had a rental car from Avis that we picked up at the ferry port in Moorea and dropped off at the airport in Moorea which I would recommend to make it easier to get around. It was very easy to navigate around the island. But several of the restaurants and activity coordinators will gladly pick you up and drop you off at the hotel if you don’t want a car. It was a very safe location and we had a mixed crowd of guests during our stay. Solo female travelers, couples with very small children, mixed generational families (grandparents, parents, older children, etc), and some couples either honeymooning or vacationing. It was a nice mix and everyone just kind of did their own thing. It never felt crowded or too full. It was perfect.

Sofitel Kia Ora Moorea Beach Resort is located on a picturesque white sand beach, and boasts spectacular views of the crystal lagoon and the iconic silhouette of Tahiti Island. Location was good. Overwater bungalows we’re superb with the best snorkeling we have ever done right from our room!
