In un ottimo punto nel centro di Porto, Ribeira Douro Hotel propone alloggi a 2 stelle vicino a Palácio da Bolsa e Mercato Ferreira Borges. Camera pulita e profumata, con arredamento moderno e di design, bagno nuovissimo. In camera abbiamo trovato la macchinetta del caffè e una bottiglietta d’acqua omaggio. In bagno é presente tutto il necessario, persino la crema corpo! Personale gentilissimo, disponibile, sorridente. Colazione a buffet abbondante, con varietà di scelta dal dolce al salato. La struttura si trova nel quartiere Ribeira, uno dei quartieri fulcro della città, zona molto comoda per raggiungere i maggiori punti d’interesse della città: le cantine (attraversando il ponte, circa una decina di minuti a piedi), il centro storico (10/15 minuti di passeggiata), il mare (struttura attaccata alla fermata Infante dello storico tram linea 1, che in 20 minuti porta fino al mare). In conclusione: la struttura meriterebbe un 4 stelle!

It truly has everything you could want, with a fresh, young, modern, and tech-savvy vibe where you can tell every detail was carefully planned. The facilities are top-notch: meeting rooms, work spaces, gym, laundry and ironing room, and much more. The rooftop is incredible, with a pool, bar, and fantastic atmosphere. The room is spacious, comfortable, clean, and has everything you need. And most importantly—the location. Simply the best location in Porto. The breakfast is truly wonderful.

The hotel lies inside a beautiful park, so there are lovely views all around, and it’s if you want to get out for a walk you’re already in a natural setting within the town. Our children enjoyed the pool, where you could swim both indoors and outdoors. The staff was friendly and helpful, and kind to our children. Breakfast had many options and we also had a nice meal at the restaurant in the evening.

Parking is small, but there is possibility to park outside of the hotel and there is a parking garage 100 meters from the hotel.

We stayed in Porto for three nights and, from the moment we arrived, felt warmly welcomed. The staff were extremely professional, providing us with detailed information about the city, offering excellent recommendations, and even greeting us with a welcome drink—a gesture we truly appreciated. The room was impeccable: spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The shower’s water pressure was excellent, which made our stay even more comfortable. Additionally, the housekeeping team did an exceptional job, ensuring everything was maintained to perfection. Regarding the hotel’s location, it is extremely convenient, being close to the metro station and offering easy access to all the tourist attractions. It’s also worth noting that the area is quiet and safe, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Overall, a highly recommended experience—we would return without hesitation!
