First off, this hotel is a hidden gem. Our tour company recommended their own suggestions and we were not pleased with them so we did our own research and I found this place. Wow! First off, it’s beautifully located right on Lake Kivu and is so relaxed and feels very safe with their own security. The room is beautiful, spacious, and has a great bathroom and patio. Moreover, the staff was outstanding and so attentive and communicative. And the food was outstanding on property. Breakfast is included so make sure to enjoy it. We also loved our dinner.

Umurobyi Lodge asub Kibuyes, Mukura metsakaitsealast 39 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. I’ve stayed at many places in Rwanda but this by far is the best. It’s obviously on the pricey side but it was worth every cent. The food was amazing, the views from every angle were incredible and the staff really made you feel welcomed and well taken care of. I will definitely coming back.

Absolutely stunning view over the park and seeing the sunrise from the little veranda was a highlight. The restaurant has a beautiful view and the food very delicious and generous portions. The bed is big and very comfortable and amazing shower! The extra bed/cribs worked well for our kids. All the staff and manager were so friendly and helpful to us all.

Homely cottage feeling , outside window botanical garden flowers in bloom. The staff is welcoming and attentive . Felt safe and protected Had good night sleep The room is cleaned daily. Nice breakfast served in your room if needed On leaving early morning, breakfast was prepared for me to take on my forward journey .

Ruhondo Island Retreat asub Ruhondos, 49 km kaugusel Mgahinga Gorilla rahvuspargist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja baar. Kohapeal on pangaautomaat ja veepark. I really loved my stay on the island! I stayed for 3 days and it was nice and relaxing. Amazingly enough, I was the only guest the entire time I was there! The owners were wonderful and they went out of their way to make me feel welcome and treated me like family. Big shout out to my main man Jean, the manager! He went above and beyond to make sure I had a memorable stay and is a great friend! The food, service and off island experiences were fantastic (Jean is an excellent tour guide and has tons of incredible side trips for you!) The island itself is beautiful and full of life. If you want to have a unique experience in nature, yet enjoy the luxury and comfort of home, then this is the perfect place for you! For me this was the experience of a lifetime! Book yourself a few days at very least, you won’t regret it!

Akagera Park Inn asub Akageras ning pakub privaatse rõduga kolmetärnimajutust. Tubades on privaatne vannituba, kus on dušš, tasuta tualetitarbed ja sussid. Kõikides tubades on seif. To all my fellow travellers: don't miss this place. It has just opened, they are still adding new services, and it is already a little wonder: The lodge, which is a little higher than the road, offers and magnificent view and it is placed very near to the entrance of Akagera national park. There is no closest hotel, except for those in the park itself; The rooms, which draw their character from the beautiful wooden style, are incredibly confortable, well designed, with a little terrasse perfect to read in this magic atmosphere; The swimming pool is simple but perfect to relax after the "African massage" of the safari road, with a beautiful view; The restaurant also points to the mountain in front, it has the same wooden style, a nice bar and a view to the kitchen to see the Chef in action; The place is also thought well so that it is serving and benefiting the community around: not only is it ecological and affordable, Akagera Park Inn buys its food from the local farmers, it is building a local shop to promote local crafts, it is working with local guides and massage centers, it aims to make its economic adventure an inclusive one that benefits the community. And of course, I have to mention the team who made everything to ensure that I had a good stay. For example, I received a warm welcome with fresh fruit mocktail and warm towel, they offered a little lunchpack for the safari, were extremely flexible with dinner and breakfast time, and put me in contact with the Ellie, a wonderful young guide who showed me around, took me for a brochette and some banana wine after the safari.

Villa Asimba asub Kigalis, 4,7 km kaugusel Kigali Centenary pargist. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. The Queendom of Asimba is a wonderfull place to stay. Very friendly, client oriented, communicative and hands-on treatment. Isabelle and Justine look for you, that you're enjoying your stay. Perfect breakfast, dinner was like early days at home (for me). They organised transport by a friendly and trustful taxi driver. I feld treated like a King but at an equal human level. The room (nr. 2) has a nice view on the valley and hill on the other side, was very clean, well-maintained, as well as the rest of the Villa Asimba. I can definately recommend a stay with Justine, Isabelle and the kind staff of the Queendom.

Karisimbi Cave Resort asub Ruhengeris, 45 km kaugusel Mgahinga Gorilla rahvuspargist. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. We had a great time at Karisimbi Cave Resort, the staff is exceptionally kind and professional. I really recommend to stay here!
