The management is incredibly welcoming and attentive to every detail, while the staff provides a familial and warm atmosphere. ​The food is delicious and exceptionally fresh, with ingredients sourced directly from the on-site farm. The hotel also offers fantastic activities, such as boat trips to nearby coffee plantations where guests can enjoy a hands-on coffee-making experience. Our room was comfortable, featuring a panoramic view, a private terrace, and a unique outdoor shower. ​This is a truly positive and life-affirming destination that respects its ecological surroundings. It's a place worth staying at for several days to fully appreciate its charm and natural beauty.

First off, this hotel is a hidden gem. Our tour company recommended their own suggestions and we were not pleased with them so we did our own research and I found this place. Wow! First off, it’s beautifully located right on Lake Kivu and is so relaxed and feels very safe with their own security. The room is beautiful, spacious, and has a great bathroom and patio. Moreover, the staff was outstanding and so attentive and communicative. And the food was outstanding on property. Breakfast is included so make sure to enjoy it. We also loved our dinner.

It's the perfect place to unwind and immerse oneself in the beautiful nature of Rwanda. The Lodge offers everything one would need for an unforgettable holiday.The scenic views from all angles over Lake Kivu are breathtaking. The staff were incredibly attentive, always helpful and friendly, catering to our needs with a warm smile. The hospitality of the owners and the whole team made us feel truly welcome. The food was a highlight - fresh, delicious, and healthy, a feast for both the eyes and the palate.  Our room was spotless, clean, and very comfortable, complete with a spacious balcony offering a fantastic view over the lake.  We had a wonderful experience and we can only recommend the Lodge for a perfect holiday.

Villa Asimba asub Kigalis, 4,7 km kaugusel Kigali Centenary pargist. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. lovely stay, with lovely hosts who went out of their way to be friendly, kind, and helpful. the place is serene, perfect for working in Kigali. the room is basic and functional, while the gardens surrounding simply invite you to sit and work and rest. visitors should kno that there is no meal plan, but it is possible to order, each day, delicious meals prepared by the hosts.

Akagera Park Inn asub Akageras ning pakub privaatse rõduga kolmetärnimajutust. Tubades on privaatne vannituba, kus on dušš, tasuta tualetitarbed ja sussid. Kõikides tubades on seif. Absolutely amazing stay at Akagera Park Inn. Location is very convenient at just 3 min from the park entrance. Rooms are impeccable, the pool is amazing and the food delicious. Emmy and chef Daniel went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. Thank you!

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla, terrassi ja restoraniga hotell Nyungwe Hill View asub Rwumbas, 24 km kaugusel Nyungwe metsa rahvuspargist. Perched on a hill with a panoramic view of Nyungwe forest, this is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding national park. The pictures online don’t do this place justice! We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights here - from a delicious welcome drink on our arrival to cleaning our boots after a days hiking and hot water bottles in the beds at night, the staff were all excellent! The food was great and we were offered a choice of taking our breakfast early before chimpanzee tracking or taking it to go - normally packed hotel breakfasts are disappointing but this was one of the best - freshly prepared fruit, pizza, cookies and cakes - it was delicious and perfect after a mornings hiking! If you are coming to Nyungwe Forest National Park (which is a must if you visit Rwanda!) then you absolutely have to stay here! Thank you to all of the staff who made our time here special!

Homely cottage feeling , outside window botanical garden flowers in bloom. The staff is welcoming and attentive . Felt safe and protected Had good night sleep The room is cleaned daily. Nice breakfast served in your room if needed On leaving early morning, breakfast was prepared for me to take on my forward journey .

We’re so happy we chose Akagera Ihema Lodges for our stay near the park. The view over the lake is simply unbeatable, and the setup of the cottage—with its walk-in shower and peaceful surroundings—made it the perfect place to relax. A big thank you to the amazing staff, who took such great care of us. They prepared breakfast boxes early in the morning for our game drives and served delicious meals each evening. Their kindness and attention to detail really made our stay special. Although we spent three nights here, we feel like we barely scratched the surface of how beautiful and peaceful this place is. We’d love to come back and enjoy it even more.
