The accommodation was perfect, in an excellent location with a stunning view, complete peace and quiet, and easy access to explore the whole island. The best beaches (Petit Anse, Grand Anse, Takamaka, etc.) are just a 15-minute drive away. The rooms are new, spotlessly clean, fully modern, and everything works perfectly (there was a coffee maker in the room, and the apartment had kitchen equipment and a microwave). The beds are large and comfortable, with reading lamps and a modern TV. The Wi-Fi was perfect – the best on the island! I really liked that there was a guest laundry, so you could wash your clothes yourself if you wanted, free of charge. The pool was just the right size, perfect for swimming, and the view could be enjoyed from there as well. A rental car is necessary to explore the island, and there was parking available. It must be mentioned that the restaurant was so good we will never forget it – we had the best meals on the entire island here. The coconut dessert was world-class. Kevin and Mady were perfect hosts – thank you for your kindness and your travel tips!

Struttura vicinissima al centro, ben tenuta con aree verdi molto ben curate. La piscina è molto comoda per le giornate di bassa marea. C’è una vista splendida sul tramonto! L’hotel offre le bici a noleggio, comodissime per girare l’isola. La camera è arredata con gusto e ha tutti i comfort necessari. Abbiamo provato anche il ristorante dell’hotel, la cucina offre un’ampia scelta e i piatti sono davvero buoni. L’elemento maggiormente degno di nota è il personale: sono tutti estremamente gentili e disponibili e si impegnano molto affinché tu possa trascorre il soggiorno dei tuoi sogni.

We absolutely loved the Sunbird. The views were magnificent and it’s well located a short car or bus ride from Beau Vallon in lovely quiet Glacis. The owner Cecile and all the staff are perfect hosts. We ate there every night for dinner as the home cooked Creole food was the best. Cecile is a fabulous cook. The rooms were lovely and spacious and we enjoyed watching sunset from the deck. Breakfast was excellent. We can’t wait to go back!
