I must confess I wanted to get a five-star hotel in Singapore, but also not to pay through my nose. So while I expected it to be quite good, I still thought there would be some sort of a trade-off. Well, there was none. Firstly, I didn't think the place would be so beautiful and the rooms (we had the ones with Peranakan décor) done in such impeccable, fine taste—it is breathtaking, really; plus all the amenities are in perfect condition and there are small touches that are absolutely bound to steal your heart. Secondly, the location itself is lovely—you are still in the centre of the city-state, just not where every other living soul seems to be at the same time, too. Right across the road you have the old Katong neighbourhood, which is as colourful, quaint and impressive as it is full of life of every type: cafes, shops, assorted temples; you name it. Thirdly, the hotel comes equipped with an Infinity pool that commands an unobstructed view of said Katong district, and getting a good evening swim after a day full of running around Singapore is such a cleansing treat. Fourthly, the breakfast has everything you may need and then some: you have the buffet selection and the a la carte selection, and if you're only in the mood for a cup of coffee, amiable staff may just kindly throw one in for you free of charge. So indeed the only reason why you may not want to stay here is if you need to have all the hustle and bustle of Singapore directly at your doorstep; other than that, Indigo Singapore Katong should really be your go-to option in this jewel of a city.

Located in the Central Business District, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore is a 5-minute drive from Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. It features a spa, infinity pool and a fitness centre. The hotel is definitely in the top 1% in the world. A monumental building, perfect location, view, service, comfort, cleanliness, and a wide variety of top-quality food... I honestly don’t know what to highlight first. The connection via an underground air-conditioned passage to the Fullerton Bay Hotel is an extravagant and comfortable addition to it all.

Located beside Chinatown MRT Station, PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering, Singapore boasts a dedicated wellness floor that features an outdoor pool, gym and 300-metre garden walk high above the street... Exceptional stay! Rooms and beds were so comfortable and hotel is a masterpiece of architecture. Loved everything about my stay! We used the pool, bar, restaurant and just roamed around the garden walk on the property. Breakfast and the variety of options was wonderful! I especially enjoyed all the Asian options.

Nestled within 15 acres of tropical gardens, Shangri-La Singapore offers a hideaway just 7-minutes from the hustle and bustle of Orchard Road. The room was exceptionally clean, cosy, great view. Shang palace was fully booked, I couldnt make a booking, but your customer service officer managed to get us a booking. Really appreciate that. Also easy to select from amenities through the website, and staff are genuinely friendly.

Heritage Collection on er staðsett í innan við 200 metra fjarlægð frá Sri Mariamman-hofinu og 600 metra frá Singapore City Gallery í miðbæ Singapúr. The completeness, even though the room was small, but all the facilities in the room made it up. And it was perfectly cleaned. I was served by Maica, Lily, and Mary. They were very fast response and helpful.

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore is located in downtown Marina Bay, Singapore. Incredible view, perfect soundproofing. The Chinese restaurant is excellent and good value.

Fairmont offers accommodation in Singapore’s Bras Basah arts hub, atop City Hall MRT Station and Esplanade MRT Station.Directly connected to Raffles City Shopping Centre, it boasts 12 dining options... Our room was superb; the view across to the Marina Bay Sands was incredible. It was big and very comfortable with both a bath as well as a first rate shower. We stayed in a Club Room and the Club Lounge was excellent; great food and drink selection, excellent views but most of all, unrivalled service. We would breakfast in the main dining room as the choices were greater, but the quality of the food was first rate.

Located on tranquil, tree-lined Orchard Boulevard, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is an oasis of calm in the midst of a busy city. Great staff, fantastic hotel and the location was great, close to all the main shopping malls in Orchard street. The staff were very friendly and the hospitality was outstanding. We arrived earlier than the check-in time window but they checked us in without any extra charges or delays as our room was available and ready.
