Featuring views of San Marino and Montefeltro countryside, Hotel Joli is just 300 metres from the entrance to the historical centre. It offers free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms, and a restaurant. Superb Location at the bottom of the walk up to the towers at the top of Monte Titano and right beside the old train station square where the Bus from Rimini pulls in. Amazing views from bedroom out over surrounding mountain ranges. Room itself was great. Plenty of room for solo traveller in my twin room, clever recessed clothes storage instead of traditional wardrobe and comfy bed. A/C worked although wasn't needed in late September. Also, very quiet at night despite its centre of the action location. (Old part of San Marino is generally quiet at night). Very good bathroom with walk in shower and all spotlessly clean. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet with standard continental style breakfast options.

Parking outside is free most days, but one day a week on market day you'd need to park elsewhere. Some pubs in the area too. Got a 20% discount for the Gondola from the hotel too, which is a 5 minute walk away and takes you straight to the capital.

Hotel La Rocca biedt kamers met overal gratis WiFi in het historische centrum van San Marino. Voor een drankje kunt u terecht in de eigen bar. Heerlijk hotel in hartje van de stad binnen de stadsmuren van waaruit je alles kan doen. Parkeren bij P6. Als die vol is een andere parkeerplaats opzoeken en je kunt dan met een treintje (dat geregeld langs komt) naar P6 worden gebracht. Vriendelijke ontvangst van de host die je desgevraagd van alles verteld (volgens mij ook de eigenaresse). De kamers zien er gloednieuw uit. Ze zijn niet bijster groot maar als je er alleen maar slaapt is dat ook niet nodig. Goed werkende airco is heerlijk met 30+ temperaturen. Je kunt geen ontbijt bestellen maar naast het hotel bij de trapopgang naar de receptie zit een klein restaurant dat bij het hotel hoort en waar je goed kunt ontbijten.
