Situated on the picturesque waterfront, Emerald Hotel & Restaurant is centrally located in Nuku‘alofa. Guests can enjoy Chinese cuisine from the on-site restaurant, or relax with a drink at the bar. Perfect location for the town centre plus facing the beach. The staff are fantastic and it’s all very clean. The Chinese restaurant in the hotel is excellent and even more useful on a Sunday when the whole island is shut. It gets mad busy then. Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels every day if you want them. A great stay we loved it

Located in Nuku'alofa, Tanoa International Dateline Hotel is waterfront property offering a fitness centre, a large swimming pool, restaurant and 2 bars. I got an upgrade at check-in to a suite that was really big with a great view of the beach.

Mystic Sands mempunyai kolam renang luaran, taman, kawasan pantai peribadi dan teres di Utungake. This property is very comfortable, relaxing, and quiet. The staff, Peta and Mau, were very helpful and accommodating with transportation to town for shopping and dinner. The owner, Kjell, was fantastic. We enjoyed conversation and learning about the culture of Tonga. Breakfast was wonderful. We loved sitting on the deck for breakfast. The reef was just off the boat dock. It is a beautiful, healthy reef with many species of fish and coral. The bay was perfect for kayaking. Thank you to Mystic Sands for a wonderful stay.

Location was excellent for my needs as the job I was in Tonga to do was only 200 m from the hotel but for some guests it may be a bit far out of town.
