Our stay at Ivory Wilderness River Rock Lodge was the highlight of the holiday. Danell and Wienand were wonderful guides and hosts and made us feel very welcome at this beautiful Lodge. Andrew and Siphiwe looked after us at the Lodge and we enjoyed every meal. The team at Ivory Wilderness work well together and make sure that you are well looked after.

Exceptional Safari Experience – Beyond Expectations!
Driving all the way from Skukuza through Kruger into the heart of Timbavati, Motswari exceeded every expectation. The lodge is stunning and set in a truly breathtaking location, but what really makes this place special is the staff. Rudolf and his team went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their warmth, knowledge, and hospitality made us feel completely at home. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more – an absolutely unforgettable experience!

Since the moment we booked the attention was top. We went for our honeymoon and they prepared the room with champagne and decorations, this amazing detail melted my heart, you can tell they care. All the staff is super friendly, they were so everything to help you with recommendations for dinner and tours.
Derwent house is the best option if you are looking for a “home” feeling, all decorations are amazing, I wanted to buy everything I saw, you can see love and attention in every single detail.
Breakfast was espectacular, complete and with good flavor. Afternoon tea, coffee and cakes makes the difference, again you feel taken care of.
Thank you to all the staff Luca, Oliver, Gladys, Patience, housekeeping and kitchen for doing our honeymoon very memorable.
You won two more customers for life! Will be recommending it as much as we can!

We felt that you think about every little detail and surprised us with things that made our stay at the property a perfect stay from the staff to the breakfast, welcome treat, the hot bottles in our bed at night and the homemade cookies every day.

Dinner excellent - oysters a favourite.
All staff were great from the moment we arrived when they swapped our room to a downstairs room so we didn't have to negotiate stairs.
