This hotel is beautiful and quiet. All the rooms face a garden courtyard area in the center. The rooms were comfortable and large. We absolutely loved the staff! They were always friendly and helpful. When our flight was moved, we almost had to cancel a helicopter ride. But the staff helped us work with the helicopter company and rearrange things so we could still go. We ate in the restaurant each evening. The food was really good and… Once again… The staff were there to chat and laugh with.

Fabulous place, beautiful rooms and grounds, fantastic friendly helpful staff, amazing breakfast. They also have a great taxi company they use which makes getting around very easy.

Located within an 2 km of the Victoria Falls, Ilala Lodge Hotel is a family-run hotel set in expansive gardens. Location is a walking distance from the falls, very nicely design hotel. You can hear the falls and see the mist. The nice location allowed us to go back to the room midday to take a break.

They anticipated my every need, from providing free airport transfers to offering a variety of complimentary beverages (house wine, coffee, tea) and snacks (cookies - cupcakes - nuts). The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. The spacious, clean room even included a walk-in closet. The experience was incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. To top it off, the spa treatments were top-notch
