We had a wonderful stay at this charming guest house in Obertraun. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with so much attention to detail that made our stay special. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, offering great tips for exploring the area. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we woke up each morning to breathtaking views of the mountains. It was the perfect base for discovering Hallstatt and the beautiful surroundings. We truly didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Pension Bergfried se nachází v Hallstattu, 150 metrů od břehu Hallstattského jezera. Nabízí prakticky zařízené pokoje, některé s balkonem. Good central location ( 2 min from gondola and 5 min from center)

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. - Really good and rich breakfast at Heritage Restaurant next to the Hallstatt lake. - Big and with good design rooms. - Really friendly staff.

Čtyřhvězdičkový Seehotel Grüner Baum se nachází v centru Hallstattu, města zapsaného na seznamu UNESCO v hornorakouském regionu Salzkammergut. The balcony had the most beautiful view, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. Everything was great. The price was a bit high, but it was worth it. It’s generally a bit hard to find a good breakfast in Hallstatt, so we had no regrets. The staff were very attentive. Special thanks to Mr. Luka — he was very kind.

Tento hotel se nachází v Obertraunu u jezera Hallstatt v regionu Salzkammergut. Such a wonderful hotel, I feel lucky to have managed to get a room. The location is stunning, next to the lake and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Swimming and sunbathing by the swimming pool in the early evening sunshine was such a relaxing experience. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were super friendly and efficient. Although they say the rooms are basic I found my room to be very good for the price. It was comfortable and cosy with a useful terrace. It was clean and had a lovely smell of pine. The lack of air conditioning was not a problem even with the temperature outside being over 30 degrees when I stayed. The location is in a village so it is quiet, but there is a restaurant and shop, and it is easy to access more facilities in Hallstatt by boat. Good location for hiking and cycling, and walking distance to the cable car. I am definitely planning to return for a longer stay!

Set in the beautiful Trauntal Valley, the 3-star superior Hotel Moserwirt enjoys a quiet location surrounded by the Austrian Alps. A jacuzzi and free Wi-Fi in the lobby are offered. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! The breakfast is amazing, the staff is incredibly attentive, the room is big, cozy and super comfortable, and the location is perfect. Absolutely no flaws – highly recommend!

Apartment Hotel Seerose se nachází v Obertraunu v srdci Solné komory, jen minutu pěšky od Halštatského jezera a 3 km od Hallstattu, obce zapsané na seznamu UNESCO. Všechny pokoje mají vlastní... Most convient self check-in. I chosed Obernaun over Halstatt "city". There is a bus 100m from the hotel straight to Hallstatt. The busstation is also the busstation for the lift to the saltmine. I came by train to Obernaun. From the station you can see the hotel...just follow the path paralle to the train rails. The best pitza..huge and beer at the restaurant 20 meters from the hotel. Nice warm fast meal after a day in Hallstatt. I took the boat once from Hallstatt to Obernaun...And back to Hallstatt. I did not know where I was. And a dayticket Obernbaun to Hallstatt Dec 2024 is 5.20€. Lovede the snow landscabe next to the saltmine And the skywalk ..view from above over Hallstatt and the lake. Had a warm meal at the restaurant next to the skywalk. Lovede the Christmas market (.it is not every day need to check what days)at Hallstatt Live concert from a balcon. I will come back and do the same things. And stay at the same hotel. With a good breakfast. Plan your breakfast with the departure of the bus to Hallstatt.
