Cleythil is located outside Maldegem, a 20-minute drive from historic Bruges and 30 minutes' drive from Ghent and the North Sea beach. The garden offers views of the Drongengoed forests and fields. The breakfast was fantastic, you can eat everything from egg to fruit, delicious caffe with lots of milk. It was more better what we waited. Nice garden, clean flat and kind staff

B&B Villa Emma se nachází v Gentu, 3,2 km od vánočního trhu. Nabízí terasu a výhled do zahrady. Nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi připojení ve všech prostorách a neplacené soukromé parkoviště. The house is a fabulous late Victorian era (in the UK it would be, I don't know what era that is in Belgium!?!) villa set in beautiful grounds. We had the Acacia room, it was lovely and clean and nicely decorated, with a sitting area with a couple of armchairs and a separate bedroom off this with a spiral staircase up to the ensuite. The double bed was big, (super kingsize I think), and there was a single bed on a mezzanine in the turret above the sitting area which is fun, but a little precarious to climb up, so not suitable for very young kids or elderly people. Georges and Hilda are lovely hosts and the breakfasts were fantastic, homemade bread, apple pie, yoghurt, pastries, cheese, charcuterie, eggs, bacon - we didn't need lunch. Hilda explained the buses, and it was easy to get in to the center of Ghent and back, on the no.10 bus from a nearby bus stop. It was a lovely peaceful location and the garden was beautiful with plenty of wildlife to watch - brown squirrels, ducks and birds.

I loved everything about this B&B (not necessarily in this order): the optimal location, the beautiful and original decor, all the amenities I could wish for, the tasty breakfast, and the friendly and attentive host. It was truly a home away from home.
