Comfortable and clean rooms, simple design, good air conditioning and WiFi, has all the amenities you need. The common areas are very nicely designed, cosy and very clean. Both pools are clean and warm with plenty of space. The restaurant offers delicious Brazilian cuisine with some Italian fusion, the cocktails are delectable - it’s a must visit when in Salvador. Breakfast buffet is great - both variety and taste. It is also very special to stay at a property with such rich history - there is memorabilia all around the hotel. The staff - 100 out of 10, very friendly and helpful employees. I had a late night flight and had to stay at the hotel all day after my checkout, I was very well taken care of and truly felt welcome. Also definitely recommend the massage, great value and very thorough.

This is a small boutique hotel located next to the Praça da Sé, a popular square in the heart of Pelourinho. Located in Morro de São Paulo in the Tinharé Region, 200 metres from Second Beach, Bahia Inn Boutique Hotel boasts a year-round outdoor pool and hot tub. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Staff was very nice. Daily breakfast and room cleaning. Comfortable bed. A/C. WiFi. Pool. Hot water. Quiet. Close to beach 2. Definitely pay one of the guys to carry your luggage in a wheelbarrow from the boat!!! Best money spent here! “Funny” restaurant on the beach and “I am orro” in the town are excellent food options. Very safe. Enjoy the beach!!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Le Refuge Pousada in Trancoso! The location is perfect – just a short walk to both the beach and the Quadrado, where you'll find great restaurants and bars. It truly feels like you're in the heart of everything, yet still tucked away in a peaceful setting. The staff here are fantastic – so friendly and helpful! They went above and beyond to assist with airport transfers and organizing day trips around Trancoso. The owner is also incredibly welcoming and makes sure you feel right at home. The breakfast is amazing, and the afternoon tea is such a nice touch. The bedroom was clean, comfortable, and cozy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The gardens are beautiful, and the swimming pool is a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. I can’t recommend Le Refuge Pousada enough! It’s a hidden gem in Trancoso, and I’ll definitely be back.

Gorgeous, beautiful and at the same time intimate and romantic. A few years ago we stayed in Vila Barracuda the more expensive hotel and loved it - but we loved more this smaller hotel of the group. We had the master sea and river suite on the second floor- a stunning large room with the most comfortable bed, best shower, big terrace overlooking a stunning view. The staff - so nice and attentive. The food delicious - compliments to the chef. Best location in Itacare. Everything was just super perfect.
