The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was fine :)

We particularly liked the bathroom. The location was also great, it was at a walking distance to many things and the tram was readily available as well.

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. The location is very near the train and tram station. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel looks very elegant. The room was very spacious and exceeded my expectations. The buffet breakfast is excellent and provided lots of choices. The in house restaurant is also excellent.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. The view from the balcony was awesome. Very comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast.
