The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was fine :)

The property is very clean and in a convenient location next to the tram station. We haven’t used public transport as we walked to the city centre. Friendly staff and lots of amenities. Great value for money.

The Basel Backpack is housed in a renovated historic factory, only 10 minutes from Basel’s main train station. The Basel Mobility Ticket (free public transport) is included in the rates. I loved the vibe of the place, the lovely people at reception, the plants, graffiti, the comfortable beds, the available kitchen, the price, the location, so well connected with the old center, airport, main train station.

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. The location is very near the train and tram station. Lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel looks very elegant. The room was very spacious and exceeded my expectations. The buffet breakfast is excellent and provided lots of choices. The in house restaurant is also excellent.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. Enjoyed staying here, it was very practical having the tramway direct to where I was going during my stay.
