The view is exceptional with the mountains and the valley seeing up from the balcony. The staff was super friendly, the breakfast was included, which is a big deal in Switzerland, and it was really good. The restaurant had an exceptional view as well. The town is brilliant, basically a village, and it feels super cozy. I would recommend staying here over lauterbrunen.

Hirschen is situated in a 17th century landmark building located in Interlaken. This hotel features a garden and free WiFi throughout the property. Check-in and check-out were very fast and smooth. The staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The internet speed was excellent. My family and I were satisfied. We will come again and stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

Shuttle service for train station upon arrival and when going out in the mornings. Convenient base for skiing. Friendly staff, clean and cozy place. Wonderful view. Breakfast and dinner had good variety, huge selection of cheeses, able to cater to certain dietary requests. Heating rack in bathroom was very useful. Comfortable bed and comforter. Room was a little small however, so we could not lay out our luggage.
